Setting.
[The scene opens. The day is young, and the quiet little city still remained in a sleeping like state, as work had only begun to swamp the day over. A still breeze passed over the small town, as a couple of steps were heard. These couple of steps seemed to multiply until there were what seemed to be hundreds, maybe even thousands of several female and male workers, most all wearing suits. The majority of the crowd was from the now growing rush hour, workers. The amount of people only seemed to double by each amount, every hour. Until now the sun blazed over the roaring city. Cars passing along the roads, people walking along the side walk, some people on bikes, even some possibly were on scoots, not many old, this crowd was a new crowd, a business crowd, from what the oldest could be seen was maybe early forties, and youngest to early twenties. The city was swamped with a new population, spawning, taking up the place of the city, replacing most of the elders.]
[A still moment never passed through the headof Cade Silver, as he had begun driving down this particular city, on this particular day. He was not alone, but there wasnt a lot of people with him. In the seat next to him, sat his fiance Tiffany, and behind her, was Steve, all three of them in the midst of traffic. Behind the wheel of the older car, was Cade, drumming a few fingers off the side of the wheel, waiting for the traffic to move from the set, and drive on. The moments as he waited, extended out his right hand, and turned up the volume on his car, no certain C.D in, but the local radio as they waited. Five minutes or so, the crowd of cars begun to pull forward, but not by very much, signing, he takes a turn, and a few more moments, they arrive at a jewel shop.]
[Cade: Well, thats it. I guess were here. Ummm, Steve, you got the ring in your pocket, right?]
[Steve: Yeah, of course. I couldnt, or wouldnt be able to dare to loose something that would be so important to you. But to make things short and simple, yeah, its here.]
[Cade: Well, I worked my fucking ass off for that ring, and I want to make sure that its taken sure its taken care of. Ill just remember this when you have something important. It took me a long year to get to this point, and I want to make sure that its not forgotten. So when youre into this, Im sure youll be thinking the same thing.]
[Steve: Just chill out there Cade, I dont need a lecture right now, I know everything that I need to know, so just dont go there today.]
[Cade: I can, and WILL anytime I work, and until I stop providing, just until I can no longer do what I do best, and that is being in the ring, then I will stop. Or maybe for that case you ever get, or have the ability to beat me for that case.]
[The car pulls into a parking place, and stops, until it was turned off. Cade turns off the music and stands, looking over the seat at Steve, handing him the ring. Cade shoves it into his pocket, and walks towards the door, holding it in a small, black jewelers case. In moments, he approached the counter, and looked at the male in front of him. He was around five foot ten, light brown hair, light, muscular build.]
[Man: Welcome Sir, how may I help you?]
[Cade: Umm, yes. I would like to drop this ring off here for as long as it takes, to be cleaned. Nothing out of the way, just a simple shine up. Would that be possible without a bit of a hassle?]Man: Yes, that is very possible. It will take anywhere from around twenty minutes, to an hour, depending on how many orders we have in front of yours, and from the looks of it, theres about three. So my estimation would be.forty minutes?]
[Cade: Now, you see here, that doesnt exactly work, Im a very busy man. How say, that you get this done in around half of that time, and I pay you more, how does that sound for a good deal?]
[Man: Sir, I am sorry, there is no way I can do that. There are several people who have made it in before you. Youll just simply have to wait your turn.]
[Cade: I dont believe you understand me right. I said I needed that damned thing clean in twenty minutes, you can bump a few people back, Im sure that its nothing important, just keep it hush hush, and youll have nothing to worry about.]
[Cade slips his hand into his pocket, and takes out a large sum bit of money, and looks back to the man, and drops it on the counter, it hitting with a bit of a loud thud. Right around this time, Steve walked into the store, and seen Cade at the front. He didnt approach, but merely looked around. The young boy looked over the lump sum that sat before him, and thought for a few moments, slowly sliding the money over towards him, sliding a heap into his pocket, and another into the register. Looking back to Cade, and nods. There was a substantial amount of money there, almost enough to be able to pay the tab six, or seven times.]
[Man: Come back in twenty minutes, and Im more sure that itll be done. Do to a recent, deciding, of course, complete random, I would say that I could have that ring done in around twenty minutes, if not shorter. And of course..I am sure that works for you?]
[Cade: Of course, that would be fine. And seeing as how I just paid you, I believe I will now take my leave, seeing as how I am done.]
[The two nod, a silent agreement, as Steve approaches Cade, not really knowing of the little deal. Both of the men walk out of the store, while the man that was behind the counter, gives someone in the back, the ring box. Twenty five minutes laterThe door of the store swings open again, this time, all three of them walk in, side by side. This time, there was a different man at the counter top.]
[Manager: Ummm, are you the man who came in here earlier, wanting a ring cleaned or something like that?]
[Cade: Yeah, right on man. I paid earlier, so if I could just pick that up, I could be on my way. No problem at all. Simple stuff really.]
[The man nods, and walks into the back. Cade turns towards Tiff, and Steve, and nods somewhat, waiting for a moment or so. Around two minutes, the man came back, with the box, and sat it in front of Cade, and pushed it towards him.]
[Manager: Well, there seems to be a bit of a problem, Mr. Silver. The man that was on duty the time that you came on mysteriously left, and well, the ring that you have asked to be cleaned, is gone.]
[Cade: Gone? Well you stupid fucker, make it not gone. Go back in that little padded room that you just came out of, and fetch that ring, and Ill leave.]
[Manager: Well, thats not easy to do. I just came back from the padded room, and theres nothing in there but old, and overdone orders. Youll have to call someone over head of me.]
[Cade: I cant believe that fucker, you track his ass down. And for right now, I want to talk to your manager. Im not leaving this store without that. Its very priceless, and I cant have it lost.]
[Manager: Well, if its so priceless, you shouldt have left it in the hands of someone you dont know. Besides, from all the money you taunt around with, Im sure you have more than enough to buy another one.]
[Steve: Money isnt the whole deal with it. The whole concept would be but what the meaning of the ring was. For one thing, that ring wasnt a normal ring, that you just walk around, holding as a normal possession, that ring is a championship that took him long enough to earn. And if that ring, and that fucker isnt found, youll be wishing that he did. Now let me see the Manager.]
[Manager: Well, I really dont want to hear empty threats, I can call the cops. Im not able or will be held responsible for what happened, and for you, I am the manager. So if the ring doesnt show up, that is your problem, not mine.]
|Cade: Empty threats? The only thing thats going to be empty, is whats left inside of your head, after I bash it off this counter, until you find that ring, youd best be fearing of your life. Because from what I have, I have enough to sue you so hard, that you wont even remember who your own mother is. Now is that clear? Oh, and another thing, I dont want to hear you talking shit to my brother, or I can assist you into a bit of a change of mind, and that my friend, is no threat, its a promise. So get your ass on it now.]
[The man shook his head, and walked back into the room. Moments later, he came back, shaking his head, and walked over to the other counter, dealing with another customer. At this time, Cade had slowly been losing it, his anger had rose enough to the point where he was almost ready to explode. Instead, he slowly turns to look at Steve, and shook his head a bit.]
[Cade: I swear to you know, I dont have the patience to wait for all of that shit. If he doesnt bring me that ring, in less than ten minutes, hes going to wish that he did earlier, hell wish that he never met me. But unlike him, he doesnt have the option. I just feel sorry for Cabalar, because Ill be more worked up than this come Show Down.]
[Steve: I really wouldnt worry too much bro. You can get it back, or always get another one. But I swear that fucking guy said he would be here, do you think he made a break for it, and took off with the ring?]
[Cade: Well, its possible. But I swear, if he did, and when I find him, hell be chewing his food from a straw, and thats exactly not an exaggeration. Ill bash both of their fucking sculls. Him for causing all of this, and that other guy for giving me the run around. How does that sound?]
[Steve: Just chill out, there isnt a need to get so worked up. Im sure that..he just had to go take a shit or something, and the ring is in his possession.]
[Cade: Well, you want to know what? Thats just fucking disgusting. If that were the matter, after I got the ring from his shitty ass, I would kick it for him anyways. Now you cant say he doesnt deserve that, after taking the thing.]
[They wait a few minutes, Tiff takes to the car, as they continue to wait for a moment or so. Not long has passed, and the man at the front comes back, from going back into the room, and talks to another customer. Once done with this one, he walks over, and now stands back in front of Cade, and Steve.]
[Manager: Sir, I am really sorry, but the guy, Dan, who was working here earlier is gone without a trace. Some people in the back said he just vanished, so I took control of the register. From what I know, or what Ive pieced together on my own, he took the ring, seeing maybe there was some value in it, and ran off.]
[Cade: Well, you had best hope for your life, that he didnt. Because if I dont see that ring on my finger, clean, then I will be a mad mother fucker, and there isnt a bit of exaggeration at all.]
[Cade waits a moment longer, and the Manager goes to the register, getting ready to put some money into it. When the slot pulls out, he looks down into it, and finds an empty tray. He steps back for a moment, and drops the money, slowly looking up. He mouths a silent, Holy Shit, And steps back slowly, and shook his head, looking back up to Cade and Steve now.]
[Manager: Holy shit, you wont believe this. The cash register is empty! Everything in here, is gone. I mean hell, I was in here this morning, and it was here. Every damn bit is gone, from the bills, down to the change. Im after that fucker now!]
[Cade shakes his head in disbelief, and slams both of his fists onto the bar, and looks down at the ground, feeling his face turn a slight red. A commode is heard flushing in the back, and they all look to it, except Cade, who had begun to grow angry. The door swings open, and the man from earlier, Dan, walks out. Swinging a blue bag in his hands, walking casual, as if nothing had happened.]
[Manager: What the fuck was that Dan? All the money is gone, and Mr. Silver here, ring is gone. Do you have any explanation about this at all? Because if I dont hear a good damn answer Im going to]
[Dan: Whoah, whoah whoah. Chill out there Greg, I was just taking a shit, I cant help if it took so long. And by the way, that ring is back there in the machine, I took so long. Says in a smart-ass tone. May I please be forgiven?]
[Greg:Alright then, alright. If weve got that all settled in, where is all the money in the damn register? I mean fuck Dan, I checked it this morning, and there was a hell of a lot of money in there!]
[Dan: Damnit man, I said to chill out. Alright, so I put the ring in the machine, walked over to the register, and took the money into this bag, to count it, and do all of the accounting for, so I would know how much money we had right now]
[All three men look abit sarcastic, and Cade smirks stepping forward. Steve smirks also, and now folds his arms over his chest, watching this. Cade says nothing for a moment or so, and then slowly tilts his head to the side, a bit of an interested, yet still pissed look on his face.]
[Cade: You mean all this time, my ring, was in the cleaner, and the money, and you, where all in the bathroom, am I correct so far?]
[Dan: Ummm, yeah, Im pretty sure thats all that happened. I mean hell, all I did was take a shit, and count the money, accidentally leaving the ring inside of the machine. I mean, hell, its not like its nothing unusual, I didnt think it would be a bad idea.]
[Cade: I dont know many people who likes to lose a ring, to a temperamental muscle bound wrestler, and likes to take a dump, while counting the stores money, and doesnt say a word about it? I can say one word for youFiiiiireeeed.]
[Greg gives Cade the ring he waited for, it was looked like new, and sparkled more than it had, in the light. Cade slowly walks towards the door, Steve following behind, paying the other two no attention. But by the time the two are gone, and off in the car, the camera panned around, and the viewers could see the manager cussing out the missing clerk. As the scene fades to Black.]
Scene 2 Ringside /w The Illuminati.
[The scene opens back up, in an XWF arena. The fans are pumped, and screaming out the names of the Illuminati. All three of the men, now stood in the back, dressed in ring attire. Cade, was doing his side to side bounce, looking around with an angry, depressive, yet emotionless look apon his face. Logan, is sitting on a bench, tying his shoes, and Rogerio was on the side, doing jump rope.]
[Cade now bends, doing some stretches, and so does Logan. Rogerio has now came more into the picture, and looks around, all three of the men now looking pumped up, and ready for anything. Their theme hits the PA, and blasts over the system, as the men walk to the curtains, and stand behind them. The theme glaring, the crowd popping, as the three men walked down the ramp, all together now, in a slow stride.]
[ As Cade came from the back, almost all three now to the ring, he looks over, and spots a poster that was close, that read: CADE SUCKS. CABALAR WILL WIN. He approaches the person, with a bit of a smirk on his face, raising the ring up in the air, his fist now clinched, the light hit it, cascading a bit of a sprinkling shine.]
[Cade: Youre singing the wrong tune kid. Soon enough youll know who came to play, and who came to lay. Youre looking at one of the best damn wrestlers to ever grace the ring before.]
[Kid: My favorite wrestler is Shaun Cabalar. And when Show Down comes on, hes going to beat your ass. And when he does, Im going to have it video taped, and youll know it, because you were there!]
[Cade: Whatever kid, when the match comes down, and you see your so called, hero go down with my fist, and then youll know what the next big thing is, when the next time you hear the name Cade Silver, its going to be behind the text, World Heavyweight Champion.]
[The music has now begun to fade, but before it has, Silver is into the ring, and Logan has already called for a mic. Hes tossed one, and catches it, and looks out into the crowd, a slight cheer, and a bit of a boo, but the cheering seemed to be more dominate over the two, altogether.]
[Wells: What the hell do these three want? Anytime we see them altogether, you can always either assume one of the two things, theyre wanting someone, or they are trying to make themselves look innocent from something theyve done.]
[Star: Well, whatever it is, it cant be too good. Logan has called for a mic, and of course he gets it, but its not like we want to hear anything theyve got to say anytime soon!]
[Logan: Shut the fuck up Jake, and Midnight Star, we never asked either of your opinions. Besides, its not if we needed them. Youre not exactly someone that catches my eye. But aside from that, thats not what were here for. We are here for talk about the Illuminati sweep for this week, now isnt that right guys? Now starting off, it will be, Stealth Vs. Gabriel Logan.]
[The crowd gives the mixed emotion again, popping more loudly this time. The mic is lowered, but what seems the crowd keeps going, almost in a bit of a loud, sound exploding bang.]
[Logan: Alright, lets take a little look at his stats. One match here so far, against who, Shiru Vanchiez? What a big when there. I mean hell, the week before he was knocked out by the little gook, and he actually made a hard fight through for a victory, do you know what that shows to me? It shows that he is nothing but a weakling. Hes new here, and already runs his mouth about who he can take out. But I know the answer to that question. How many guys can he take outNONE! And Im going to make sure that he doesnt walk too much longer, to extend his reach into a next match.]
[The crowd pops again, and Logan holds the mic down again, looking around at the crowds. Many signs were held up. Such as, ones for War Machine, Shiru Vanchiez, Chris Falkeyork, Chesney Clausen, The Last Rebels, G-Village, Cade Silver, Rogerio Bustamonte, and himself.]
[Logan: And so far, from what I can see, all you shit heads whos holding up a sign without my name, or one of these two guys names on it, is fucking wrong. Lets look around a bit moreChesney Clausen? Who the hell is he? Just another guy who thinks hes hot shit, along with his Rebels, who think they can take this federation by rush. Shiru Vanchiez? The gook that Ive beaten several times in a month. G-Village? Since when have they won a match? Geeze youre all pathetic.]
[Other than the fans of the Illuminati, they all boo, seeing some of the thumbs going down in the front. Gabriel issues a small smirk, and takes a step back in the ring, now placing a cig into his lips, taking a drag from it. Cade was on the right side, leaning against the turn buckle, and Rogerio was standing next to Logan.]
[Logan: Well, I really dont see any posters, or shirts with Stealth on it. I mean damn man, what a HUGE impact he has made. He might brag about how big and bad he is, but to he, he aint shit. Youre nothing around this federation, until you work your name up, and become an Elite. And then, hell be able to talk the shit that he does.]
[Bringing the cig back to his lips, he took another long drag from it, a small thin bit of smoke ciphering through the air. He watched the reaction a bit longer, some of the fans far away, who couldnt see him that well, had to watch the big screen, above the PA.]
[Logan: Hes not impressing me. I might have actually thought that he was going to bring the best In Gabriel Logan out, but hes nothing but a chump. Itll take a lot to show what I have. But when XBZ strolls around, Im going to make that Cabalar ass into grass, that is, if our friend Cade here has left anything for me. I mean hell, look at him, hes going to tear Shaun apart, and there is nothing that little bastard can do to stop it.]
[The Illuminati side pops, along with the faint boos from the now standing up Cabalar fans, who had grown in number the last few weeks that he had now came into the place.]
[Logan: Thats right, boo you fuckers. You know its the truth, but theres nothing you can say, when youre going to pay fifty dollars, to watch your favorite go down at a pay-per view, but I would suggest that you learn to cope with it. Dreams are broken, and bones shattered.]
[Cade smirks at this, and nods in agreement. Logan steps back, and now looks around, holding the cig in his mouth with his left hand, and tosses the mic over to Rogerio, who caught it, and now stepped forward slowly, as Logan stepped out of the light.]
[RG: Joey BWhat kind of a name is Joey B? I mean hell, this guy is a no-shown machine. I have no time to waste on this sack of no-life wanna be wrestler. I think that the B means bastard, because has no idea who hes up against. For all I know, or care about, hes going down in Show-Down. I have nothing against him, but I have nothing for him either. So I could count him out for next week, because when Im through, theyll be no Joey B.]
[Most of the crowd agreed with this, and popped with mostly cheering. Rogerio stepped back, and laughed to himself. There wasnt many Joey B posters, or for that matter of face, any Joey B shirts or anything.]
[RG: I really dont have anything else to say about this guy, I mean, come on. He practically makes fun of himself. I didnt even have to come out here, and say all of that. Every time he opens his mouth, he takes the honors himself, and does it for me.]
[Rogerio looks over to Cade, who has now gotten off the turnbuckle, and catches the toss, now holding the mic. Another reaction is given, mixed between boos, and cheers. He smirks to himself, and spoke.]
[Cade: Shaun Cabalar, havnt we really spoken enough about that bleach blond little fucker? I mean, what has he done around here? What belts has he won? He might be in a slight ranking higher, but hes done nothing to catch my attention. Hes no show-stopper, hes no heart throb, he cant even get the job done on those kids he left last week, I think the principal missed him when he left.]
[The crowd pops again, and Cade now stumbles forward, standing where Logan and Rogerio had earlier, bringing the mic back to his lips, as the crowd slowly silences slowly, into a dull roar.]
[Cade: He looks more like a rapper last night that I saw on MTV when I was flicking through the channels last night. He only gives me more chills than the Michael Jackson case. I mean hell, I think both of those sick fuckers need to be locked up. But Cabby only insists on wrestling, and will fail when he meets Cade Silver for the first time in his life.]
[Cade lowers the mic again, and looks over, to see Logan walking around, taking a drag from the cig, as the smoke slowly hovered over head. Cade looks back out into the crowd, the growing smirk on his face, now faded.]
[Cade: To make things short, no one can mess with the Illuminati. There are several people who think they have what it takes, but to be honest, i dont think anyone has what it takes. Cause I meanwere the best damn thing there was. And theyre aint no stopping us.]
[Cade tosses the mic, and kicks it out, the theme blasts once more, as the three men exit the ring, the scene slowly fading to black]
End Promo.
