Achievements: WAW Cruiserweight Champion (1).

Intro: Life had been the last couple of days, but it was still slow as all through hell. Hayden was welcomed into the open arms of Triple-X Rated, and was taken into it like a new family member, hugged closely to all of its members. But from all of the four he had had the chance to meet with, his favorite so far had to be, Justina James. She had been so nice to him from the start, well, not exactly nice, but a little weird around him. None the less, he had been grateful for the antics in which the stable had brought him into, and he was looking forward to bigger, and greater things, but with the hard fought match with Ryan Hardy, he knew inside of his own mind, that keeping his title the second time around would be another battle to fight, not with just his own mind, but against a man who was relentless, and wasn’t quite ready to give up, not quite yet. Ryan would be an opponent, that Chris didn’t hate to see in the opposite corner. He wasn’t a big fan of Ryan, but he did respect him for not wanting to give up against Hayden. In the last couple of days, he had been on his toes, and ready for anything that was coming his way, growing more and more every second. He still had a lot of room for improvement, anyone does and everyone, even though they won’t admit it. Christian was a type of guy who was good, and knew it. It didn’t exactly make him cocky when he bragged before his match, but more so confident. If you let your opponent look better, wouldn’t the mental battle be lost? Who knows?

”Back to the grind.” – Scene 1.

Scene: The scene opens up, on the outside of the Hayden home. Christian has been spotted walking outside of his home, most noticeably returning to it. He had a few suitcases in his arms, and the Cruiserweight title along his shoulder. The door is opened for him, and Hayden steps in, greeting the person who had helped him, or was too far back to be seen on camera. Hayden steps in, and for a moment all we see is the outside of the house. The camera cuts off, and a few minutes later, we can see the plush carpet of the inside of his home, which is quite nice, and lavish. A quite a nice home for someone who looked as he did, not everyone would expect him coming from something so well, we see Hayden walking around the house, and into a room, kicking the door open. Tossing all of the things he had in his hands onto the ground, them all landing with a thud, he takes the title into his hands, and looks over his own reflection. He somewhat smiles into the piece of metal, and reaches into the pocket of his jeans, and pulls out a cleaning rag, and then begins to polish it, so the metal shines as though it was new, although it wasn’t too old to begin with.

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “So many men in this organization have their dreams focused on this title. So many tears have been shed for those who have been lucky enough to win it, and the blood loss for all of those either wining it, or losing it. Either way, no matter what anyone says, especially the likes of Ryan Hardy, no matter how small the title, it all means something. Besides, what’s the prize of staying around a federation, when you’ve become too old to wipe your ass, or even hold your own pecker to piss? I don’t think it’s about money, not to those who love the sport as much as I do….but it means living for the titles that you have fought for, all the bled that you’ve shed, and the tears that have been cried. Although there are a lot of men who would vow never to admit crying, every human being cries, maybe it isn’t as easy to see as some things in this world are, but everything happens for a reason. This sport, this very federation was built on this same belief, of doing what the fans wanted to see, putting up the moneys worth. Of course many people make their living off of the sport, a lot of people make their living off of things they love, it doesn’t make them any less, but actually shows what kind of heart people have. I’m tired of the boring talk that goes around here, who’s better than who, and who’s going to beat who. Although that sounds awfully damn funny coming from a man who sits back, and has pride going through the WAW Predictions on the WAW’s website, but I do. I love seeing my fans vote for me, and think that their favorite Christian Hayden, isn’t only going to pull through because he is their favorite, but because he has the skills to keep himself alive, to keep the people motivated, and that’s what this sport is about. It isn’t about talking trash, or trying to make yourself look cool in front of a camera, or even trying to be the funniest man alive, or any of that shit. It doesn’t matter how cool your wrestling name looks, or even how hard you train, or bust your ass. Of course, if you spend the whole week inside of the gym, and bleed your knuckles into physical submission, you’re always going to remember it. But when the spotlight is ready to shinedown on Sunday, you only live in the limelight for a couple of minutes, twenty at most, unless you have some kind of phenomenal match. But it all comes down for years of hard work, struggle, blood loss, and tears, for one title, and two hours worth of matches. Many people ask me, if all the injury, the pain, the loss, and the sacrifice is worth, why don’t I just give up? But every time I look at this title when I feel week, or even feel low, if gives me power to stand back up, and live another day. Not just for me, not for the crowd, but for all the wrestlers in the back who put their ass on the line to make themselves look good, it’s no one man show. I wouldn’t be able to look as good as I did last week, unless one Ryan Hardy was able to put his ass on the line. He got what he deserved, and so did I. I alone didn’t make my match look great, but the way me and Ryan put our hearts into it, it’ll be a match that I’ll always remember, defending the title I’ve come to love.”

Scene: Chris looks over the title for the longest time, and stands, groaning with a few popping bones, a few week joints. He shoots a glance over towards his stand on his bed, and sees a pair of underwear, that had once belonged to his girlfriend, Tiffany. He missed that woman so much, almost enough to give life up for her, his whole entire career, and seek out her love again. But he had spent so much time in front of the TV as a kid, wrestling his younger brother and friends around, saving up his money in college to go and train to become the man he was today. All to hear the fans say his name, or even boo him as they had to this day for turning his back on Gehenna, and joining the side of Triple-X. He didn’t do it for the fans, but for his hopes and dreams. He wanted to see himself elevate, and that was a good day to see himself. He loved being around the members that made it, and that’s also that put him in the place of where he was. He was happy, although he could have been in a better match this week, or holding a bigger title, he was happy to be taken into the society, to be watched world-wide, and be taken seriously, not as some little cruddy inside joke between some friends.

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “I lost the woman I once thought I loved, and still do to this day, just to keep the profession that I’m doing, training toward today, traveling all the way to Australia, to fight for the very title that I hold in my arms. I can see the various things in my life, that have helped me to where I am, but the road was long, ever since I was five years old, and watched wrestling, such greats as Andre The Giant, and Hulk Hogan. Those men have made such big impacts on my life, since the very moment that I laid my adolescent eyes on them, that I always wanted to do the same thing they did. Be so good at something I loved, good enough to inspire many people to love me, and know my name. Of course, my transition over into Triple X, was nothing like the move Hogan pulled, pulling away from the WCW side, and joining the NWO, I’m very glad I’m not the man that inspired me to do the sport I chose to do today, and will do until I’m no longer able to, and forced to quit. But I don’t want to do what Hulk Hogan has done to the sport of wrestling, he made his own impact, he was one of the founding fathers who made this sport possible for people all around the world. He was one of the few, that drew the crowd it, to WANT to watch him week in and week out, and was paid to make his videos for his fans to watch the behind scenes, he was one of the few list of men, that sold out arenas, and did the things for the fans, not because he wanted to, but because he had to. He was the legend he was yesterday, today. People will forever remember his name, and they will pass it down towards the younger generation, and they will remember his name. I don’t want to be remembered for the same thing that he was, but I want to make my own impact. I want to take all the dishonor that people bring to the WAW, all the bickering, the argument, and the foul moods that fly around this place, and keep the living, breathing, taking essence of wrestling, and make it what it used to be so many years to come. And I can’t do this alone, but Ryan Hardy has helped me. He took place in a title defense yesterday night, and although he won’t be remembered for winning the title against Christian Hayden, he will be remembered for not giving up, and giving him a second shot, not in a normal match, but one of the kinds of matches that would risk your life. One of the matches that had the though inside of you, that you may not be walking home, or even walking again. He has put himself on the line, as much as I have, in the hopes of winning what so many men have won before him, and something he has won himself, the Cruiserweight Championship. After all of this hardship, after all of this pain by so many men, who is to say this title is so low, that it doesn’t deserve respect? All of you arrogant fuckers who think that, can go straight to hell. A title is a title, regardless of what it represents. You’re a winner, if you’re good enough to hold something as prestigious as this, and I truly mean that.”

Scene: Chris smiles, and knocks off all of the shit that was on the dresser, it all hitting the ground, some with audible cracking sounds of breakable things breaking, and of all the images he had before it, was brushed away. All of the memories he had, was replaced with one big, chunk of metal. He places the title on top of the dresser, and took a couple of step back to look at the shine that if gave off, and sat along his bed, sighing heavily. He wasn’t ready for the small event that was to come next. A phone was by his bed, one he kept in each room, so he didn’t have to run, began to rang. He glanced down at the ID, and sighed, picking up the phone, and massing the receiver towards his ear, he spoke slowly, as if living wasn’t something he did easily, but was some, long, hard dragging on chore that was like an annoying little kid, that would never end.

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Hello?”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “Yes, Christian Hayden, as I am much sure of, this is---“

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Yeah yeah, I’m aware of who you are, I can read, bozo. You’re Chip Johnson, also known to the old fans who used to watch the WWE, as ‘The Coach’. You’re calling to ask me, if it would be okay, to stop by a little later, ask a couple of questions about Ryan Hardy, and maybe even get to knock back a couple of beers with the Cruiserweight Champion, Christian Hayden himself. Now how close am I to what you were about to say, now, hmmm?”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “Well, actually, Mr. Hayden, you were right on the dot. I was wanting to know, if I could come by, ask a couple of questions about why, and who came to you about Triple-X, the whole WAW was eaten up with that anticipation, to see who got to you first…as for the offer of the beer, I didn’t have that in mind, but if that is an offer---“

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “I was kidding, Chip, can you not hear the fun in my voice right now? Ha, ha, fucking ha. I’m not in the mood for having short, chubby bastards in my house, asking me such stupid damn questions, and probably wanting to sit back, and act as though you were my friend. I don’t give a rats ass about you, and you sure as hell don’t give a rats ass about me. I just walked in the door less than an hour ago, and since you don’t have the fucking respect to let this wait until tomorrow, I don’t think I’m expected to give you the respect, of being nice. So go ahead, get your ass over here, and the faster you do, the faster we can get this thing over with, okay?”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “Right, Hayden, I’m sorry to bother you like I did, Jus actually ordered---“

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “I know, he ordered you over here to have to hear what I would say, and maybe jot down a couple of paragraphs of what I would say, into your little notebook, so that you could possibly put them inside of the magazine for this week. I know exactly what you want, and I want it done within the next thirty minutes. If it’s not done before then, I’m going to head my happy ass to bed, and you can sit outside my door, and wait for me until tomorrow. But I don’t think your boss would be happy about that, now would he?”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “Yes, you’re exactly right, I’m sorry---“

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “You bet your sorry ass, that you’re sorry. Just remember that you owe me, you owe me a lot, guy, you had best bring a couple of six packs, or I’m going to be one pissed off fucker. And if you think I’m pissed right now, you’ve not seen anything.”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “I’m not entirely sure if that’s in the funding---“

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Make the funding. Bye.”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “But---“

Scene: Hayden smirks, as he cuts Chip off at mid sentence, and lightly shook his head, before looking back up to his title. Damn, couldn’t announcers be nauseating? Of course, it was another part of wrestling, and inside, he did figure it was a little mean of him, to give Chip the kind of bitching that he had. Besides, Chip had a life himself, and he was more than sure that Chip’s wife wasn’t exactly happy with him leaving late in the night, to go interview some lucky smuck that apparently didn’t care. Although it didn’t really matter, Hayden was the star, he was the little bitch that got what he wanted, not Coach. He knew his place, and so did he. Hayden got ready to stand up, to go and make some coffee, and even got half to the way into his kitchen, before the cordless phone in his pocket began to ring, and he growled, knowing who it had to be. He picked up the phone, and practically growled his greeting.

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “HELLO.”

'The Triple X Diva' Justina James: “Whoah, it seems like this isn’t a good time, Chris, can I call you back?”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “No, waist, Justina, I’m sorry about all of that, that bitchy answer wasn’t meant towards you, but it was towards Chip--- Let me explain, first, and maybe all of this won’t sound half as stupid as it does right now. I was on my way home, just got in the door, an hour or so ago, and then the phone started ringing, while I was in the middle of a hear-to-heart conversation with my fans, in front of the camera, and this ass clown calls, apparently ready for another interview. He pissed me off so bad, that I was actually in good enough of a mood to get ready for him. I go down stairs to make me some coffee, to maybe keep myself somewhat awake, and you happen to call. I didn’t even look to the ID to see if it was Chip, and I assumed it was…And wait, how did you get my number?”

'The Triple X Diva' Justina James: “Wait, slow down a few minutes Chris, don’t worry about how I got your number, all I was calling for, is to make sure you had a safe plane ride home. I know you’ve been emotional over the last couple of weeks with your wife, and I just wanted to make sure, that nothing else has happened. But I’m actually busy myself, I need to go…and Chip? Don’t worry about him, hun, he calls all the time. He just does what he’s paid to do, he’s got to keep the good on his table for his family.”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Yeah, I know, I should really apologize for being the five star ass that I was to him tonight, but I guess I have only the time to worry about my own ass. Ryan is going to be hungry for that title, even hungrier than he was the night of the Outback Attack. I’m going to have a good match on my hands, I can’t let anything else dwell on it, or I’ll take my attention off of the match, and be wide open for attack…damn there’s too much going on in my life right now.”

'The Triple X Diva' Justina James: “Calm down Hayden, you really need to just get loose. Don’t worry about apologizing the Chip, he gets paid to deal with people in the kind of place you’re in. As for little Ryan, well, I wouldn’t worry about him at all. You seem to have things in your hands. You had the guy tapping out, before we even entered the ring, that whole match was yours, and you knew it even then…all you have to do this time, is grab a title that’s in the air, and tuck it into a nice place, and that’s the end of it. So take it easy for me, okay Hayden?”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Yeah, I’ll try JJ, thanks for the support. It always does help knowing that you have friends that care, and call for pure concern. And as for the thing with my wife…I’ll never be over it better than I am now. I love her, with all of my heart, but I put my life in front of my needs. If god calls me to return to her side, than I guess I just do….but I’ll try and do that, Justina, and I hope that you’ll do the same.”

'The Triple X Diva' Justina James: “Of course, kid, just remember, you’re doing fine. Don’t every worry about anything, you’re in Triple-X, because you know how to think on your feet, and get things done when they count, remember that. You’re just as valuable as any one of us, and that’s why you were asked personally, by Jonathan himself, keep that in mind. Ryan is going to be your bitch this week, and I pity the man, or woman, or gets in your line next week. Congrats still on the win.”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Yeah, thanks Justina, and also, congrats on your own win, I know beating Ice isn’t high on your list of easy things to do in your life.”

'The Triple X Diva' Justina James: “Yeah, I know what you mean Chris, but listen, I got to go. See you around later?”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Of course, Christian Hayden is a game player, see you later Justina.”

Scene: Hayden mashes the off button on the phone, and tucks it back into his pocket, smiling once more. It was a very helpful thing to have team mates who cared, enough to simply call you to make sure things were alright. He finally made his way into the kitchen, and began to make his coffee, as the scene faded out…

”Shooting the shit with Chip” – Scene 2.

Scene: The scene opens up around thirty minutes ago, outside of Christian’s home. The day has melted almost into night, as all of the day light has faded into what it is now, the twilight. You can hear the crickets chirp in the background, as well as an engaging conversation between Chip “The Coach” Johnson, and Christian Hayden. The two men are out standing by all of the vehicles, saying some inaudible things. We now see one of the cameras that is focused in Hayden, to find the two men just beginning over the first line of questions that Johnson has to ask. Wow, this’ll be some great fun, now won’t it?

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “Tonight folks, this is Chip Johnson, standing outside of a home it Atlanta, Georgia, that is owned by the newest member of Triple-X, the man who turned his back on the whole world, and his former mates of Gehenna, the same man who appeared in the Outback Attack as the WAW Cruiserweight Champion, and left that same night, with the same title over his back, with three new people on his side. In a week, he will be stepping into the same kind of match, but instead, a new stipulation will be added, a ladder will be tossed into the whole thing. So, Christian Hayden, what I would like to know, is how you feel about reliving the same exact match, on such an insignificant night, that would be Wreckage? Do you think this would be an appropriate time, to be defending a title, with a big match such as this? A type of match that has ended many careers, and lives? Do you think that all of this is just some big kind of show?”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Well, Chip, technically, this is just one big whole show, called WAW’s Wreckage, so on that part, I already have your question answered. As for the night of the return of Ryan Hardy, versus WAW’s very own Cruiserweight Champion, Christian Hayden, I think there is none better than the stage that will be set for Wreckage. What the people need, is a whole slue of matches that have the five star ratings that they get inside of a WAW pay-per-view, without having to pay to watch it on cable TV, or even have to pay to come and watch it. Inside my heart, as dark as a place as many people are sure it is located, I do like to put on such big shows, in such little matches. I’m not exactly sure how Ryan feels about stepping back into the den to face the Wolverine, I’m more than sure he’s not happy to get his eyes scratched out by the deadly animal, and even less enthusiastic to have his hopes beaten down, and shattered, at ever winning a title that he once called his own. You see this, Ryan? This title that I like to wear across my shoulder? Do you see the way it shines over a dresser in the home? Of course you don’t, and you’ll never have that chance again. As long as I’m up, and able to put up a fight, no one will ever have the hopes of seeing that title in their own home, except for me. Like I’ve said many times before, I want to make this title, what no one else has seen it go before, and that’s to be pushed to the extreme, to be the most perfect, unreachable item in wrestling today. Although many may see this as the distinguished WAW World Championship, I see that title as nothing more than the one I wear around my waist every WAW match. Every title, in my eyes, are worth something. And all have their own values, but could be seen no less on any kind of level.”

'The Coach' Chip Johnson: “That’s a lot to say, Christian. But on the level as a profession level wrestler as you are today, you are respected by many fans across the world, not to mention to have gain such quick access to a stable as big as Triple X. Someone upstairs must have liked you enough, to turn the light on so bright for you. Ryan was making what would be he return, that he would say, and was wanting to taste blood for that title that you wear so proudly. Do you take any kind of fear, knowing that he is almost ready to do ANYTHING to get that title back in his possession? You seem as calm as a man who has been seen in this proposition more than a time or two. Where is your stand point on this whole match? And the previous one before it? Do any of these kind of high endurance matches ever blow passed you, as something that you think Ryan will out do you in? Does it ever strike you, as something that you’ll fall short on?”

'The Dynamite Kid' Christian Hayden: “Well, Chip, I actually don’t see much fear in things like these. Of course, I expect to see Ryan Hardy ready for this match, much more to the extreme than he was in our previous match. I don’t see as though he gave me all that he could, but sort of slacked in all the wrong places, in all the wrong times. Don’t get me wrong or anything, he is a great super star to work with, and someone I’d be willing to face up against week in, and week out, until one of us were ready to give up. I would rather be facing someone that is active in what they do, and not slacking like a lot do. What I do like to see, is a good challenge, and when I see Ryan Hardy, I see a man who is always ready for what life has to toss him, rather it be something bad, or even something good. Although he isn’t carrying the capability to beat me right now, I doubt that anyone in the WAW would be more than willing to step out of their resting point, and challenge me. I can tell the fear of those who sees me doesn’t run low, but there are a lot of people that see me as a large threat to their strength, and fear the very sight of me. Although I can say this is all too well, I don’t want to scare people off from a good challenge. I want to be the kind of guy, when inside a match, brings out the best in people, and makes them want to fight more. Hell, if I could, I would defend this title every damn week, and make it a twenty four seven thing, like the Hardcore title, to just show how hard up that I like to be. I want to bring out the best in people, to make them ready for anything and anything that can happen. Ryan is a great star, and he has been seen to be inside of some great matches, but I don’t want what he’s done in the past, win or lose, I want to push him to the kind of limits that he never thought his body to go for…I want him to know what pain likes, and to keep pushing so hard that he feels as though he’s ready to rip open…I want him to know the feeling, the surge I get. And for one simple moment, I want him to live in the moment that I live in, and see the kind of man it takes to beat me down. Chip, I’m a monster, it’s a physical, and a mental fight, and I don’t only gear up to win one of them, I gear to win them both, even before the battle has been fought….and I mean it. I issue a challenge out towards any man, or even any woman who thinks they have what it takes to conquer me. Even if they think I’m just running my mouth to fight, give up in the middle of the match, and take the week off, I’ll show anyone that I mean business. If you want to take a shot at my title, you know how to do it. There’s a door that’s always open, and an ear’s that always ready to listen. Anytime you feel as though you’d like a shot at the Cruiserweight title, all one must do, is get in the right contact, and the whole imagination that you possess can be let out. I’m ready, not just for one of you, but for all. Ryan is another step that just refuses to be stepped down on, and I’ll eventually show him that resistance is futile. He would do must better to drop his hopes, and let himself die. I’m not ready to give up…ever.”

To be continued…
