No thoughts yesterday, I had a Monday Headache....
Why do colleges/other places usually only give tuition scholarships? Why don't they just give the money to be applied toward college however we want?
Due to the Hope Credit and the Lifetime Learning Credit, college tution is tax deductable, whereas room and board is not. The colleges are out the same amount of money either way, so why not let us use it to our best interest?

First of all, this is based on something I heard. My friend went
to Canada on vacation. When she changed out her money, she got like
six Canadian quaters for a buck. That's just the exchange rate.
Anyway, can't you spend those quaters here. No one ever notices or
anything. . .so, there you go, just take a bunch of money over to
Canada and swap it out. You make $.50 on every dollar.
I know this is too good to be true, so someone please email me
and tell me why it won't work.

What is handsome?
My friend and I discussed this today, and we came to a conclusion. Handsome is when a girl
feels as though she should be attracted to a guy {because of money or social standing, most
likely} but the guy lacks features that would deem him attractive. This can be seen most
often in older, distinguished men with wrinkled faces. They wear suits and have very
established jobs, so they are 'handsome,' but, as far as looks go, they are lacking.
Or, maybe it is simply when a man wears whatever clothing the ladies would see as nice-looking,
no matter how uncomfortable. Maybe it is simply the effort that is sometimes put forth by the
male to be handsome that makes a woman tell him he is so. But, one thing is certain: there is
no set standard...it is just a ploy to make men dress up and shave, ect.
