Smith & Wesson cowers to anti-gun zealots

  Facing several liability lawsuits, Smith & Wesson announced that it would begin equipping all its guns with safety locks in exchange for dropping the suits. Immediately they were portrayed in a demogoguish manner by the press as "leaders in responsibility that all gun makers should follow."
   To real patriots, however, this behavior only typifies the increasingly defeatist attitude of many gun owners/makers/sellers. They don't have the tenacity and courage to "stick to their guns" (literally) in order to resist future "reasonable" (read: totalitarian) gun restrictions, so they choose simply to capitulate to these dictators' demands. In the end, freedom and its defenders take another blow.
   If we continue to allow our Second Amendment rights to be eroded, we soon will find ourselves in a situation where we will no longer be able to fight for them. As The Partisan affirms,"The time for complacency is over!"
