Dale wins Bristol under the lights after late scramble with Labonte, Earnhardt Style....
I enjoy many sports, my favorite being Nascar racing.  Ever since the first race I watched in 1989 at the tender age of twelve, my favorite driver has been Dale Earnhardt, not just as a driver, but as a hero off the track.

Although I followed the empire Dale built, Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, since start-up, they are now my on track team due to his tragic death at Daytona in February.

The drivers include Dale Earnhardt jr, Steve Park, Michael Waltrip, and Kerry Earnhardt (ARCA).  Earning the driving duties for Dale's cars and pit crew is Kevin Harvick, now the white twenty-nine Monte Carlo.

Dale will never be replaced.  He had the sense of humor, keen eye and  driving ability only one could have.  No matter where he was, leading, behind the wall, or in the middle of the pack, he always caught the attention of fans, media, and drivers.

So who to watch?  Dale jr. and Kevin Harvick will lead Nascar into the future the same way Dale did, with dominance but more importantly "there own way".

As for other sports I enjoy baseball, football, basketball, hockey, all as participant and fan.  As a participant I enjoy almost all, especially volleyball in the summer.
After a viscious wreck at Talladegga breaking ribs, bones, sternum, collarbone, etc. Dale qualifies for the Pole the next week at a road course, leading laps and eventually finishing 6th, now that is tough.
