The U.S.S Enterprise is a heavy cruser class starship also known as constitution class. The Enterprise is one of the fourteen ships of that class. It is a deep space starship. It is primary a military ship but it is also an instrument of scientific research and diplomacy in the service of the Federation. The ships crew is four hundred thirty at which forty officers hold officer rank. if the primary or secondary hull be to heavely damaged to maintain life support systems the other has the full compacity to operate indipendatly as an emergency lifeboat and can effectively house an entire ships compliment. When you hear the Captain or another officer on a landing party say Condition Green it means the landing party is in danger but the Enterprise must not interfere. When you hear the Yellow Allert it is a standby alert. The ship could be in danger, and the crew should be prepared to mave to their posts if the ship is in danger. Red Alert is an emergency alert when the ship is in danger and all officers must report to their posts.

Captain Pike was the second Captain of the Enterprise he was the Captain on The first pilot epesode of Star Trek, then Captain Kirk took command on the second pilot epesode.
Captain James T. Kirk played by William Shatner.
Kirk was the third person to take command of the Enterprise, the first commanding officer was Commodore Robert April, the second was Captain Christopher Pike. He was the youngest Person to reach the rank captain. He took the Enterprise out for a Five year mission. The Enterprise under the command of James T Kirk was the first ship to return after its 5 year mission intact. Kirk became good friends with Doctor McCoy and Mr Spock, over the years Kirk has lost his share of crew, Jim was also the youngest Captain to become Captain of a Starship, Kirk later by Star Trek 1 The motion picture accepted promotion to Admiral, then temporary reduced in rank to captain the Enterprise one more time, then In Star Trek IV The Voyage Home he was permantly demoted to Captain and in command of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A, years later Captain Kirk was believed lost when he saved the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-B on his inspection of their Maiden Voyage. Was found by Captain Jean Luc Picard of USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, and NCC-1701-E in star Trek Generations, in the Nebula and died on Viridian 3 saving the solar system.
Lieutenant Commander Spock played by Leonard Nimoy
Spock is the only Character that stayed on from the first Pilot episode with Pike. He served as the ships first officer and the science officer. He is a half human and half Vulcan but still believes in Logic and will not show emotions, Spock has been caught showing emotion, but usually he has an excuse or makes up an excuse. Hi father was a Vulcan (Sarak) and his mother was human (Amanda). Spock is good Friends with McCoy and Kirk. Mr Spock is the First officer and Science officer on board the USS Enterprise. Spock once had to return to Vulcan to mate or die, and T'Pring, decided she wanted to be with another vulcan, spock was forced to fight Kirk, and it cured his Pon Far which he will get every 7 years, Spock left starfleet and came back for Star Trek The motion picture as commander, and accepted command as Captain of the Training ship USS Enterprise NCC-1701 in Star Trek 2, has died once from radiation saving the Enterprise from Khan, Later took first officer postion on the Enterprise NCC-1701-A with rank Captain.
Doctor Leonard H McCoy Played be DeForest Kelley
DeForest Kelley was born in 1920 and he died June 11 1999.
McCoy served as the Chief Medicle officer on the Enterprise. He was good friends with Kirk and Spock. McCoy always refers to himself as an Old Country Doctor. He always joined the away team with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. He also known to say the famous lines "He's Dead Jim" or :Damit Jim, I'm a Doctor not a brick layer" or something else. Retired from Starfleet and as he would say he was Drafted back into Starfleet in time for Star Trek The Motion Picture as chief Medical Officer on the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 then NCC-1701-A. Doc McCoy was also An Admiral Inspecting the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D as 136 years old
Lieutenant Commander Montgomery Scott ( Scotty ) Played by James Doohan
Scotty served as the Chief Engineer of the Enterprise. He always considers the ships Engines as his and on his free time he loved to read technical manuals. Kirk forced him to take a shore leave and told him to have fun instead of always reading technical manuals in the episode "trouble with tribbles. Mr Scotts friends know him as Scotty and Scotty would rather be spending his shore leave reading technical manuals instead of doing what the reset of the crew would be doing. Mr. Scott is the 3rd in command of the USS Enterprise. In Star Trek The motion picture he became a Commander, and by Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan, Scotty was promoted to the Rank of Captain and the position of Captain of Engineering of the USS Excelsior, which Scotty wanted to supervise the refit of the Enterprise which he learns is not going to happen. Scotty was on board the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-B, later that year, Scott went missing and found by Rikers Away team of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D
Lieutenant Niota Uhura Played by Nicheal Nickoles
Uhura served as the ships communications officer, she is a African American and her names stands for freedom in Swahili, she enjoys signing for the Crew of the USS Enterprise and is 4th in command with the Rank of Lieutenant. Uhura is very knowledgeable in the engineering side of her Communications stations and is often seen repairing the Com unit herself instead of having Scotty or another Engineer do that for her. in the movies she held the Rank of Commander and held the Communications position, she showed an interest in Scotty but nothing went beyond that. Star Trek IV The Voyage Home, Uhura helped Kirk and crew by getting them cleared to transport to the Enterprise.
Lieutenand Hikaro Sulu Played by George Takie
Sulu served as the ships helm officer for the five years. Sulu started out as the physicis on the USS Enterprise, then was promoted to Full Lieutenant and Given the position as the Helm Officer on the Enterprise, later was promoted to Lieutenant Commander under Captain Will Decker on the Enterprise, held the rank of Commander while as helm officer on the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-A, then Became Captain of the USS Excelsior NCC-2000, and spent a 3 year mission charting gaseous anomalies in the Beta Quadrant and became an important part in the Khitomer peace accords.
Ensign Chekov Played by Walter Koanig
Chekov served as the Ships Navigation officer for four years. He came on the show in season 2. Chekov joined the crew a year after it begam its mission, as the Navigator on the Enterprise. Chekov is known for giving the Russans credit for just about any invention he can think of, even if they did not invent it himself. Chekov was a young Russian Officer who was proud of his heritage. later became the Chief Tactical and Security officer on the Enterprise during and after Captain Will Decker was in command of the Enterprise, In Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan Chekov held the rank of Commander and First officer on the USS Reliant, The Enterprise Destroyed the Reliant after Khan had taken over it and Chekov spent the rest of the time as Tactical officer and Navigator on the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A. Chekov was also on board the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-B maiden voyage when James T Kirk was lost in the Nebula and believed killed.
