============================================== ================ My Reasoning ================ ============================================== Alright, this soundboard source is great, the only thing about it is very little audience noise. This is usually a good thing, but in the case of Bathtub Gin, there is a lot of audience participation. The audience sings much of the main theme, and while this is happening, Trey is either just strumming chords or even, at times, he stops altogether. if you listen close on the soundboard/audience that Kevin gave us, you can here it, but it's very quiet... The source kindly provided to us by Kevin Shapiro, although it says "sbd/aud" the audience is minimal in the mix, and from here on out, that source will just be refered to as the soundboard source. so I decided to take my audience source, and mix in the segment with the audience singing... IMO, this adds to the feel of the song. I have outlined in detail what I have done and of course, I have left the orinal soundboard track the way it is, so you can choose which version of Bathtub Gin to burn to your audio CD. if you have any questions at all, about why I did this, about the process I used. just shoot me an email. thanks, and I hope you enjoy.
