Samhain
So is it really about creapy crawly thingies that go BUMP! in the night? No Not really. Samhain is the night the vail is the thinnest between the world of out ansestors, ( spirit world ) and us, so durning circle we can honer our loved ones and tell them HI:) in our own way. No they arn't gona pop out and yell BOO! like in the cartoons  but they will know we are there thinking about them and that we love then and wish for them to go on and grow .
Some Ideas to show your respect would be to set out pictures of your loved ones, light a candle ( ask your parents for permission and help on that one) set out some flowers or a small gift for your loved ones.
If you leave your candle somewhere safe, outside, or if indoors you may want to ask if you could let it burn the rest of the way down in the sink.
======================
Now don't get it confused with halloween, that is a made up holiday by the Christians  that was brought about so our ancestors would beable to have their holiday without actually celebrating Samhain.
But Halloween is fun  to dress up like goblens and go door to door to ask for treats, ah but don't ask for tricks! or you just may get one!
Have fun!
