Beam Me Up Scotty! (7)

The
pre-trib fib is a dangerous teaching. It is this belief that will lead to the great falling away from the faith in the last days. If the Christians suddenly disappeared, as the rapture fib professes, then everyone would know instantly what had happened - the false rapture teaching is the dominant one seen in our dominant media form (television). Many non-believers therfore will have heard of the rapture. Following such disappearences, the first world leader to step up to the podium would face a million sniper rifles! Instead, we know that many Christians will embrace this new leader and be deceived. The reason Christians do not recognize the anti-christ when he appears is that they believe according to the false teaching, that they will be beamed up first (the "but they couldn't be the anti-christ because I'm still here" phenomenon). The Christians who do wake up will be ridiculed and discredited.

Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the begining of creation. (2 Peter 3:3,4 KJ Ver.)

Christians will feel abandoned as the world begins to crumble around them, and
they shall be mocked for their belief in a "rapture". Many more shall turn away as a result.
