Will miss Terri very much at the clinic. My day very often extended to around 10-11pm on the clinic days, before I had her to help me. Finance remains a problem in the clinic. I am attempting to establish a little local help through my contacts in the hospital for such things as medications and disposable supplies. They have indicated to me that they would be happy to help with anything they can |

| News in Israel Well the big news in the land at the moment is the disengagement plan and the evacuation of those living in the Gaza Strip. Things are certainly coming to a head and there is talk of them threatening to commit mass suicide rather than be forcefully uprooted. This is going to create a huge problem for those In volved in evacuating them. There are teams of counsellors being put together to go in before, to try to avoid such a tragedy. The talk is of plans to build on established communities in Judea and Samaria. - Please pray for Gods will, and ONLY HIS to be done in this situation - Please pray that there would be no blood shed |

No doubt you would have heard about the bombing in Tel Aviv last night that left 5 dead and more that 50 injured. One of those killed was a 28 year old woman who was 3 weeks away from getting married. The blame for this was put squarely on the shoulders of Damascus by the government here, and more and more the eyes of everyone here are looking north to Syria and the instability now in Lebanon. Diffenent to nearly all the other bombings, there was no celebration in the Palestinian quarter. Infact there was some anger at those who were trying to derail negotiations with the Israeli's now. There was a HUGE car bomb found near Jenin that was as big as the one that killed more that 100 people in Iraq recently. It was also rigged up to film the "event" . There is talk of a third one that they are still trying to find. - Please pray for the thwarting of any further attempts to carry out suicide bombings. |
More rain is always needed in the country. The Kinneret is around 1metre below optimum level and so it would be great if we had a little more good rain. |

| I think I shared with you the opportunity I had to share with my neighbours. I shared with someone at congregation about it, looking for some advise and guidence on how to deal best with the questions that Zev brought up. He said that he would be more than glad to debate these things with him as a Jew who had studied these things, including the Jewish traditions, and look for him to be able to show him why he should not believe that Yeshua was the Messiah as long as he was then willing to listen to why he does. Zev is happy to do that. - Please pray for Zev and Shelly his wife, that Haim will be given opportunity and wisdom in sharing with them Keren (our Israeli flatmate) is settling in and part of the household. She had unfortunately lost her Grandmother this weekend and so has been dealing with a difficult time. - Please pray for Keren at this time and that this would be a time that he family would recognise the Lord reaching out to them. Well I had better let you go. Please take time to sign my guest book before you go. I am not sure if I shall use this method every time, but I will let you know. It was fun to do it for a change Lots of love and Blessings from here in Jerusalem |
