 Hi Everyone,
Well, here is an update on what has been happening this last week or so, as there are a couple of things I would appreciate prayer for
 The Clinic -: One of the girls from the medical team at the storehouse (Karen) came with me to the clinic this week in place of Terri. Terri was asked to work Friday at the storehouse, and so wanted to just relax on Thursday evening. The place was such a disaster area when we arrived. It was satisfying to leave it looking and more importantly smelling a lot better though. They are in difficulties with finances and at the moment I am trying to get a hold of a new anaesthetic machine as they are not putting the animals to sleep properly and putting themselves to sleep. The one they have is leaking. What they really need is some good ideas for fund raising.1. Please pray for a positive answer about an anesthetic machine in the next day or two.
2. Please pray for fund raising ideas and contacts for them, as there is no other organisation for the welfare of the street cats and stray dogs in Jerusalem.
3. Continue to pray for Helick as he continues his military service
General and at home -: I had an interesting Shabbat this last week. We had been praying for the Lord to increase our opportunities to share His love and His life with those around us that don't know Him. Well we were expecting snow this last Shabbat and around 2 the electricity went off in our building. I think maybe you have heard me mention the religious couple who are our neighbors and who run the little store at the end of our street, Shelly and Zev. Well he came knocking on my door and told me that Shelly wanted to see me. Actually it was to flick the fuse on their box because they couldn't do it on Shabbat. As it turned out it was the whole building and not just them. Anyway the result was that I got back to my apartment around 6 after 4 hours of talking with them about what I believed and they telling me what they and believed, asking me questions about all sorts of issues. It was interesting too because I learned alot about where the religious are coming from. Zev has studied much about the Jewish writings (including the mystic teachings) and told me many of their stories. He wants me to show him, why he should believe that the new covenant is the truth and does not discard the teachings of the Old Testament. He wants, in his words, to see the "thumbprint of God" through the New Testament. He posed a few questions that I felt I should pray and look at before answering and he said that he respected that and he was happy for me to do that because our words were weapons, especially spiritually speaking and no soldier should use them unwisely. He said he had so much bubbling up inside that he had wanted to talk to me about, and ask me. He said he wanted me to come back and knock on the door anytime and talk. Shelly, his wife, is so sweet. She sat and translated for us if there was a problem. She would translate to english for me if I didn't understand the hebrew and he didn't know the english, and she translated into hebrew for me when needed. She is very close to having their third child. I think David is around 2 1/2 and Shlomo(Solomon) is I think around 14 months.
I can tell you that I was very tired after 4 hours back and forth.
Took up a little dance for the first time last night. There is a girl from a group called Benot Tzion. They are a worship group and she had some of us at the storehouse back to where she was living and taught (or tried) one of the dances that they do. It was fun and a great time of fellowship. We would like to keep this up, Lord willing.
1. Please pray for this couple, that I will be given the opportunity to spend time with them again after perhaps talking with my Pastor and someone that I know that works with specifically ultra orthodox people. I have a tremendous open door here and I do want Gods wisdom.
2. Please pray that the Lord will continue to bring other believer across their path.

 Honey has gone missing. Don't know how he did it but Hun Bun got out last night and has not come back yet. Please pray for his safe return. He isonly a cat I know ...... but he is already missed by Benjie and Kiki, and me ! I rescued him from street life, and don't want him to go back to it.
The Storehouse -: At the storehouse we have just given to a hospital that is facing bankruptcy. It is a major central hospital and it has so often been on the frontline of the central Jerusalem bombings. The contact for me there is a very nice religious guy, and it is interesting that he told me that he saw Barry and Batya at a meeting with CFI. This is Christian friends of Israel. First time he has even made it plain that he realised where Barry and Batya stood. He certainly doesn't seem to have any problem with it whatsoever.
1. Please pray for Akiva. I have opportunity to talk and see him at times and it would be great to share.
2. Terri has her visa up in the middle of April and I am getting in early with a prayer request for a replacement for her, both in the home and at work.
 Israel -: eyes are to the north at the moment with what is going on with Syria.This could of course be potentially dangerous situation for Israel. Will Syria become the next Iraq ?
Also Sharon is under serious threat over the disengagement plan. He is needing a VERY heavy security at the moment. The settlers are so upset at how they see this as having been handled.
Spring is somewhere near arriving. The wild cyclamen are starting to come out.
1. Please pray for the northern borders, that the Lord will have His way with the situation there.
2. Please pray for the situation with this whole issue of disengagement . For the safety of Sharon. We can do without another Rabin incident.
Well I am sure there is more I could tell you, but I do not want to bore you. Have gone on long enough.
