More Projects:  Jars of Clay has contributed to the book The Narrow Road: Stories of Those Who Walk This Road Together.  It's the auto-biography of Brother Andrew, who became a missionary and Bible smuggler.  It is an amazing and inspiring story.

They have recorded a song for the
new City on a Hill cd.

News from Christian Pirate Radio:

"Can't Erase It" from
If I Left the Zoo has been nominated for a Dove award in the Modern Rock/Alternative Recorded Song category.

Jars of Clay songs will be included on THREE new move soundtracks/cds.  Click
here for the full story.

They have also contributed the song "Needful Hands" to a new worship cd entitled
God of Wonders.  More info can be seen on Musicforce.
CCM Magazine's site has some articles that pertain to my favorite musicians:

The Stories Behind the Songs: Find Out What Inspired Jars of Clay's Upcoming Release The Eleventh Hour (this is really cool.  I had to go listen to some of the songs after reading this)

The Top Ten Christian Love Songs of the Past Decade (I think "Fly Farther" should be on this list,  but it was only released on White Elephant Sessions, so I understand)
Two free cd-roms are available at Family Christian bookstores.  One is sampler with material from Jars, the new City on a Hill cd, and the Parachute Band.  The other is "ten:thirty - the making of the eleventh hour" and is available when you pre-order the new cd.
Apple.com has an article about Jars of Clay doing much of the work for the album on Mac computers.
The Eleventh Hour was released March 5.  A DVD will be released sometime in the future;  preview clips can be seen on Jars of Clay's official site.  Track listing and sound clips for the new album can be found on Musicforce.com, my favorite online Christian music store.
A Pay-per-view concert was first aired on March 3rd. It will be aired a few more times this month; don't miss it!  It's an incredible performance that you and all of your family and friends can watch together for only 20 dollars.
They performed songs from the new album and many old concert favorites. You can find the official article on their
official site.
For older articles you can check out the archive section of Jarchives.  It has a large collection of articles that were published online, in newspapers, and in magazines.  More resources can be found on my Links page.
Gospelsite.net has an in-depth song-by-song review of The Eleventh Hour.
