| Allen Watkins Allen is the "celebrity" of the group. He has played with bands like The Lonesome River Band, Mark Johnson & Clawgrass and Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, but he is probably best known for his part in Claire Lynch & the Front Porch String Band. He is one of the most creative and talented banjo players in the world. His last two self-produced recordings were listed in The Chicago Tribune's David Royko's top ten acoustic albums of their respective years! He is adept on mandolin and guitar as well. He currently runs his own music school in Hartselle and lives in Battleground with his wife, Anne. |
