I found your information on the VINCENT family very interesting. My gggrandmother was Nannie B. Vincent Oliver 1870-1948. She was married to ? Beckwith. The family lived in the KY, TN, MO area. They had 2 known children Thomas & Idah Elmo 1899-1937. I
ah married Berthel Moore. The Beckwiths lived around Wolf Island between MO & KY.
I do not know where Nannie B. Vincent Oliver was from. I do know she worked for Famous Barr, CO..
I hoped that there would be a connection with your Vincents since both were on the river around KY.
My search continues........

I received a link to your site from the Vincent Homepage (Karen Red Fox Mitchell). My Vincents are cajun. They are from France to Nova Scotia to Louisiana. I do not tie into any of the other Vincents. But I also noticied Dixon and Beard surnames. I h
ve Dixon's on my mothers side and I have Beard's on my fathers side (again, Cajun.) I didn't find the Dixon or Beard on your page.

What a really nice site! I wish 'our' line had been traced so well. Maybe we will find that
somewhere back in the British Isles our Vincents/Vinsons will connect---didn't realize there were so many of us carrying the surname until the www. You are very kind to put up with so many of us 'off-liners' on your mailing list.
Thank you. pat v.
