Our Moore Line As It Relates To Matilda Moore
My husband's direct line includes Matilda Moore (whose family was of "Revolutionary War" fame, who married John Sidney Vincent,
son of Joseph Vincent Jr. and Lucy Jopling Vincent of Kanawha Co. VA/WV. There is a serious research project going on, by Moore cousins, to find out more about Matilda's ancestors. One serious question concerns what the Revolutionary war fame was for her family. Records from earlier researchers, indicate that her family was of Revolutionary War fame; but we have not verified this information. We would love to have any input that you might have concerning this line.We are especially interested in information about ancestors of Oliver Moore. We have information concerning the Moores in England, which comes from Moore contacts in England. Some information has been found written on Leather.
