Why These Stories Are Copyrighted

Believe it or not, Duke the Mouse and all of his stories are copyrighted! I know that may be hard to believe but there are several good reasons for this. I wish we lived in a world where everyone was honest and each of us worked hard because we loved the work we were doing. And I wish everyone would respect each other's work and honor that work. Well, sometimes that doesn't happen so these stories have been copyrighted to protect them from anyone who would not respect this work. If you would like to write a story about Duke the Mouse, please have all the fun you want. If you profit monetarily from Duke the Mouse, we need to talk about it. So have fun, enjoy and please respect this little mouse. Thanks!
