Up to 2
Adventures!
For
our second adventure, Carl and I went on an adventure with my Dad and my brother,
who were visiting. This Adventure is actually a lot shorter than the
first one. Okay, so we decided to go down to this museum place called the
Exploratorium. Since my Dad and my brother rented a car, we got to drive
down there. On the way, we made a quick change of plans, and decided to
drive across the Golden Gate Bridge. So we drove across this
architectural monstrosity, and parked at the little tourist place there.
Since it was fleet week, there were jets and shit flying around. It was a
sunny day, which is a rarity for October in San Francisco. So we took
some pictures of the city and the bay and shit. Then we left and made our
way to the Exploratorium. It was like this big outdoor dome with pillars
and whatnot. Inside was a cool looking museum, but it cost 12 bucks just
to get in, and we were like “Fuck that.” So we left. This is actually a
two-day adventure. The next day, Carl and Derek and I went to dinner with
my Dad and my brother downtown. Then we drove down to the warf and went
to pier 39 and all that tourism stuff. That’s pretty much it. It wasn’t
that exciting, but I got to spend time with my Dad and brother, and Carl,
who never leaves his fucking house because he’s anti social. Anyways,
here’s the pics.

For
the first week, Carl and I decided to go to Alamo Square. Alamo Square is
a big park. So we get there, and decide to play Frisbee on the tennis
court there. We end up developing a new game combining the rules of
Tennis with the fun of Frisbee. I wanted to call the game Frennis, but
Carl wanted to call is Tebee, which we both agreed was a better name. At
the edge of one side of Alamo Square, are the houses that were featured
in the opening sequence of hit TV show Full House. So we took a picture.
Then I took a picture of this girl that was sun bathing. It was great.
Then Carl and I decided to just start walking and see where we got. We
could see City Hall in the distance, so we started walking towards it. On
our way there, we walking into a “bad” neighborhood. That was the first
time I had ever seen someone snort crack on the street. In fact, that was
the first time I’d seen someone snort crack period. San Francisco offers
firsts for every situation. Anyways, Carl and I reached City Hall. So we
decided to keep walking, into downtown. We ended up in Union Square. We
walked through Union Square, and I got a Diet Pepsi at a Walgreens. Carl
got a Razmatazz at a nearby Jamba Juice. Then we kept walking. We ended
up near a really tall building that we took some pictures under. Then we
saw a tower in the distance, so we said “Let’s walk there.” Man, it was a
long fucking walk, but we got there. It was Coit Tower. We took some
pictures up there. Then we decided to walk to In N’ Out to get some food.
In N’ Out is located in Fisherman’s Warf, so we walked all the way down
there. Then we ate at In N’ Out. Then we walked to a bus stop, where we
got on the bus and then got off the bus, and then got on the train. Then
we got off the train in near campus in a town called West Portal, and
bought a 24 pack of Coca Cola at Rite Aid. I went to the bathroom,
because I’d been holding it for so long that I started to dance. Then
we got back on the train and went
home, where Carl, Derek, and I preceded to drink some Kahlua mixed with
Coca Cola. All in all, Carl and I had quite an adventure in San
Francisco. Then end. Now for pictures!
