Pirates Say Arr

While sailing far

Pirates are tough

But they still get hurt

They won’t talk about

The pain that they feel

They sail the seven seas

Fighting moray eels

Pirates can get lonely

Together but alone

Not as lonely as Vikings

Who never have a home

Hooks on their hands

Help to catch fish

Shibber me timbers

Pirate gibberish

Patches on their eyes

Because there’s none there

Pirates all have beards

And they don’t cut their hair

 

I would be a pirate

Fight with swords and such

Parrot on my shoulder

Drinking way too much

I wish I was a pirate

It would be awesome

Looting and plundering

To me seems very fun

Pirates have the life

They get to be lazy

Fire great big cannons

And act generally crazy

Finding buried treasure

X marks the spot

Try to take my share

End up getting shot

Pirates understand

Who and what they are

That explains why

Pirates say arr
