Program Coursework and Personal Portfolio
Brigham Young University has been a leader in facilities management education since the late 1960's through the College of Engineering and Technology.  Students in the program take a variety of Facility Management courses including Auto CAD/Revit, Structural Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Systems, Operations and Maintenance, Human and Environmental Management, all phases of Construction Project Management, Asset Management, Landscape and Interior Design, Real Estate and Property Management, and Contract Law.  The students graduate with the FMP designation from the International Facility Management Association and a minor in Business Management from the nationally ranked BYU Marriott School of Business.  Graduates from the program are in nearly every industry in the nation and many are now entering the healthcare industry with the creation of a new student chapter of ASHE.
