Why Overalls? Why "Chicas en jardineras"?

In the Mercosur Area (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay) "jardinera" it´s the term who describes the clothes know as well as Overalls. In Bazil it´s called "jardineira".

"Overoles" called in most region countries, as Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, etc... Also, "mameluco" describes the same kind o clothes. If I translate the website name, it should be "girls in overalls", but since this name has been taken (and it´s a good site, by the way) I decided to keep the Spanish title.

This site was created in june ´06, and since it´s in the net has counted with the great suport of "El Overol" (webblog), an a lot of you who has been around here for a while.

So if you wondered Why overalls? I´ll tell you...

Overalls are the most original, beautiful and comfortable clothes that I ever know. I like to wear it, and of course, i like too much watch a women in those. I´ts a beautiful combination of sensuality and sweetness when you see a women wearing it. I love to watch girls/womens who like to wear them.

But even when overalls today are most accepted as a "girls" clothe and few guys try on them, overalls are not particulary comon all around the world. Sadly, girls/womens prefer other fashion styles today.

And in the other hand, Overalls are now gained a few of popularity between the people, most of them womens who discover the benefits of the overalls. Benefits who most of us already know, as look and feel very comfy on a daily basis.
