Mystery Inc's Rooster Cogburn MS

Hello, and welcome! My name is Jane Dougherty of Jardawn Kennels. I started with German Shepherd Dogs in 1968. I have Produced Quality, Titled German Shepherds, over the years. I prefered the Obedience Ring and have produced many Obedience Titled dogs in my bloodlines. Obedience work is rewarding where "You and your dog are a team working together". You knew what you did before you even left the Obedience ring.

I started a Boarding Kennel in 1972. We participated at Dog Shows, Obedience Shows and did Personal Attack Training.

I aquired my first Dachshund in 1987 with a magnificant bitch named "Tootsie" from Mrs. McCord of Kordach Kennels. I was able to build a strong foundation from Tootsie and continue to produce Superior Quality Smooth Miniature Dachshunds. Jardawn strives for Excellence and uses High Standards to Produce Outstanding Personalities, Healthy, Superior Quality puppies. We are dedicated to our dog fancy and are members of the Dachshund Club Of America and the National Miniature Dachshund Club. Thank You for visiting our Internet Home. We are very excited to announce that Rooster has earned two points towards his championship on the very first time he was shown. This picture was taken at the Wilmington Kennel Club's 2005 Point Show at Lums Pond State Park on April 29 & 30, where he won Best in Opposite. Thanks to handler Amanda Roop. 3/4/06 Update: Rooster, with professional handler Tara Hartman, has taken 5 points at a Dachshund Specialty - the best of the best! Rooster now has 13 points towards his championship. 3/19/06 Update: Jardawn Kennels is now the home of a champion! Mystery Incs' Rooster Cogburn MS finished his championship with a 4 pt major win at the Dachshund Club of Syracuse.
