| JAWORSKI LINAG. A tagalog lad from Bulacan. Joey, as he wanted to be called, is the son of Mr. Crispin Linag, Sr. and Mrs. Lilia Linag. The eldest and the most shy in the group. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the Bulacan State University. After working for 4 years as a government employee, he decided to join the Carmelites, inspired by the Carmelite friars. He believes that when he entered the Order, he brought nothing except his faith that God loves him and loves God too. KARL REFORMINA. Karl prophesies to be the first Filipino Carmelite scientist. A risk taker, Karl is ready to try anything for a challenge. He is from Tagbina, Surigao del Sur. He finished his College Formation at San Alberto Carmelite Formation Center, Cebu City with the degree in Social Science from Cebu Normal University. He believes that to love is not to see a perfect being but to see an imperfect being perfectly. ZACARIAS MANTE, JR. hails from Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat, the "bombing" capital of the Philippines. Zak, 28, finished his second year in Theology from another seminary but later joined the Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP-ST) as a volunteer staff and researcher. It was while working that he met the Carmelites and because of his ardent attraction to the Order, he decided go back to the formation, now with the Carmelites. For him, nothing is impossible. JONATHAN SEROFIA is the guy with a wavy Ilongo intonation. Bobby, wt, is from Dingle, Ilo-ilo City. He finished his degree in Computer Science at Cabalum Western College. He taught for 3 years at Mater Carmeli High School at Dingle, Ilo-ilo which is run by the Carmelite Missionary Sisters. Then, he taught for a year in Mount Carmel College, Escalante, Negros Occidental, he handled computer subjects for his aspirancy year. For Bobby, life brings many things that are deeply distressing, but in God's hand each burden becomes a spiritual blessing. ROMMEL ESMERIA, the youngest in the goup, is from Balamban, Cebu. Melskiens, as he wished to be called, completed his Bachelor's Degree in Social Science at the Cebu Normal University. Like Karl, he also finshed his College Formation from San Alberto Carmelite Formation Center in Cebu City. This "small but terrible" guy is a music lover. He plays guitar, flute and piano. He also sings well. |
