Where everything began

As I told on the main page, after meeting the MAME emulator I desperately wanted to make some kind of revival of the old times, where I played those fabulous and also unforgetable games on a real environment - I mean on THE REAL THING!

Backing home, my old and simple computer table gave me the ideia. I didn´t want to reproduce the original black wood cabinet but the feel on playing on real arcade controls (and also the video feel).

Thanks to MAME software we can simulate horizontal scan lines on computer monitors so I didn´t have to spend a lot of money on a real TV and had the same real perception of playing on a TV!

So I bought an old 14´ computer monitor as the base for my display MAME unit. The controls (joysticks and buttons we found on the internet - oh man! how wonderful the internet is...)
