| The Prostration and the Litany of Saints The ordinands prostrate themselves on the floor of the sanctuary, as a sign of their unworthiness and tneed of divine assistance. The bishop kneels and all others who assist kneel as well. The Chanters begin the Litany of Saints and the congregation aswers. The whole Church Triumphant is called upon to intercede with God that He may give worthy ministers to Church Militant. |
