We saw the news in America, so we decided to take this train... The case about the robber didn't take anything from the jewellry shop, and said something really unusual beffore he left... Conan: So that's why... Yukiko: Yeah, Yusaku told me that as well... A professional robber being that careless, and the strange thing he said before he left "Different from what I've said"... p. 3 Yukiko: It's exactly the same as the fiction Yusaku wrote 10 years ago... Oh, apart from the robbery happened in a huge art gallery instead of a jewellry shop... Conan: Then what happened after that? Yukiko: We checked on the jewellry sho['s phone number! And asked them if their boss will take this train... Because the owner of the art gallery in the fiction got shot to death... Then we asked if hee's going to take the train 6 days later... But they've already cut off the line... So I got onto this train to try and stop the murder... Conan: Why didn't you tell me about it then? Yukiko: I wouldn't expect the murder to happen when I went to the toilet... Conan: You should have told me! Yukiko: I saw Shin'ichi is always hanging around with Ran, plus I didn't think the murder would really happen... Because the train is meant to go through the tunnel at midnight, so it can't possibly be train number 5... Conan: Oh, I see... Midnight is a good time for the murder to happen... Then after that? And he gave it to the robbers... So he decided to give up that story... Conan: Er? And maybe that robber... Yukiko: Yeah, the head of the robbers... Is actually Chigan Anji who was just killed not very long ago... p. 6 Conan: But isn't it strange? The robber who stole the draft was killed just like it was in the story? Yukiko: Yeah... Kogoro: The key point is what happened a week agp, Chigan robbed Mr Chuwan's jewelly shop and said 'different from what I've said' before he left... p. 8 Kogoro: This thing hasn't been clear... We could prove that the robbery was designed by both Mr Chuwan and Chigan! Inspector B: What? Kogoro: Chuwan probably found Chigan on purpose to have a fake robbery with him to get the government to pay him... He'd get paid by the government even more when he gets the 'stolen' jewels back onto his hands... Inspector A: But the criminal escaped without taking anything as soon as Chuwan sets the alarm off! Kogoro: Chuwan didn't expect any robbery to happen in the first place! He played this little trick with Chigan and pretend he's caught the theif, so that he can become more popular and get more votes in the election... Inspector A: But what if Chigan really got caught by the poce? Kogoro: No... Chuwan wanted Chigan to get captured... Because he's got a bad criminal record, the police wouldn't beleive him anyway! But it was unlucky that Chigan escaped! Chuwan was scared that Chigan would revenge on him, and he received Chigan's phone call... p. 9 Kogoro: He said "Take the Train Polaris as I've told you to... I don't think we're going to run into police again..." That's why Chuwan got shot to death by Chigan over here... And Chigan, who broke the window to escape, he under-estimated the train's speed and died because of the serious damage to his head... Kayu: Come to think of it, Boss really took this train after the robbery... Right, madam? Chuwan's wife: Yes... we were going to go by plane, but he suddenly decided to take this train. When we tried to open the door, it was locked... After the door was opened, the window was cracked and there wasn't anyone in the room. So we thought he escaped from the window... Hang on a minute! Everyone's rooms were arranged like this... If there's a way to go through the room without getting noticed...* p. 12 Conan: *It can't be! The murderer's only broke his own room's window... Throw the dead body out of the window within such a short time, then disappear in the room... What about using tools to help? Mrs Chuwan's gun for the competition...
