Welcome to Year Two of The J-League! It's time for another exciting season of the Premiership and Yahoo Fantasy Football. Like last year, I will run a number of side-competitions to Yahoo's game on this website. For newcomers to the league who want to see how it worked last year, check out the Archive.

***Week One will see all teams in the group entered into the The Tin Cup, the first of several knock-out Cups to be contested throughout the year--the Bronze, Silver, Gold [and maybe Platinum] Cups, with each successive Cup adding a week to each round. Each round of The Tin Cup, however, will last just 1 week (except the Final and perhaps the Semis).

***After Week Two or Week Three, 3 Divisions of 12 teams each will be created based on the current group standings. After a "season" of 11 weeks, 3 teams will relegated/promoted from each division to take part in "Season Two," and so on. If more than 36 teams enter the J-League, I might decide to add a 4th Division, but it's more likely that extra teams would be forced to watch and wait for a possible promotion to the lowest division. Extra teams would, however, be entered into Cup competitions and of course are free to participate in messageboard conversations.
