| Updated struggling report: 20:08 hours, 4-6-2000 Earlier today, Swab gave a general address to students explaining their limitations for the day. Some dialogue: SWAB: WE WILL MEET TONIGHT AT 10:30 PM STUDENT: WHAT TIME DO WE HAVE TO BE IN OUR ROOMS? SWAB: I JUST SAID 11:00 PM!!!!!!!!! Later in same conversation SWAB: SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT TIME WE WILL BE IN OUR ROOMS? TOM: 11:00 PM SWAB: NO, THAT'S IT, YOU BE IN YOUR ROOM BY 9:00 PM!!! Later today, we needed a room change and were told to ask Swab. Dialogue of what went down: TOM: WE ASKED IF IT WAS POSSIBLE TO HAVE A ROOM CHANGE AND THEY TOLD US WE NEEDED TO ASK YOU. SWAB: NO, THERE ARE NO ROOMS LEFT TOM: OK 10 minutes later, Tom was called into their room SWAB: Why did you tell us there were rooms available? TOM: I didn't, I asked for a room change, I never said there was an extra room. JEBUS: You led us to believe there was an extra room TOM: No I didn't, they told me to ask you for a room change. SWAB: YOU TOLD US THERE WAS AN EXTRA ROOM!!!!!!!! TOM: OK.... <<<<<<<THIS JUST IN>>>>>>>> 20:22 HOURS SWAB AND JEBUS ORDER PIZZA AND THEY'RE NOT IN THEIR ROOM. 22:52 HOURS, AFTER MEETING Dave was making noises and Jebus yells "whoever is making that noise better stop, or else they will be getting a referral, and I know who it is"(at this point everybody assumed she was going to yell at tom) Swab came and stood behind me. Branden was talking about how our robot was one of the most powerful ones there is here, and tom asked if he meant torque and svabek out of ignorance stomped her foot and glared. |
| struggle update, 21:23 hours, 4-7-2000, Too much to write about to go into detail. STRUGGLIN WAS VERY Apparent. I don't know where to start. we could talk about how it is impossible for our robot to get pushed around because we have the strongest robot (quoted by the driver) and yet we sure as heck got pushed around, and our robot was broken for that match. Or we could talk about the continual struggling of the "girl next door". And how today we told her why were rolling up our plants (etc...), we could talk about the demo of outta sync when the space mountain ride broke down, or even how Dave and Stacey got in an argument, but i think the topic of today is how we managed to miss the bus to homewood suites. 9:00 pm We're off splash mountain heading toward the monorail, when the parade in magic kingdom had started. We finally made it out of the crowd, and made our way the monorail. Someone went over the rope and was told to go back because he had to be a "good little boy". once off monorail A, April suggested we go to take a bus directly to our hotel, and we agreed. 9:30 pm we arrive at bus slot 8 where we await homewood suites bus assured by disney officials and other bus drivers that the bus would be here, but is always late. 10:00 pm April calls the buses and realizes we were in the wrong place, so we hightail it to monorail B. 10:05 pm we finally arrive to the monorails, John hops the rail and starts drinking the water fountain, when "joseph" decides to yell at him for doing so, and informs us a monorail won't be arriving for 30 minutes. 10:06 pm brandon calls relatives at epcot asks them to await till we get there for a ride to hotel 10:07 pm we�re on monorail enroute to epcot. Apparently, �joseph� was off by a few minutes on the arrival time of the monorail. 10:08 pm steve is making flaming comments, japesh thinks he dominates 10:26 pm riding with brandons family 10:40 pm we arrive to struggle city (aka hotel) 12:11 tom concludes struggle report. this just in: tom powered down the computer while reading this document out loud: 12:16pm UPDATE: we found out the next day that the buses from epcot to homewood suites ran until 11PM. |
| so we're at busch gardens, getting off a roller coaster. Well before we boarded it, Japesh was flirting with a hot chick (stacey) who worked there. She was up in the roller coaster control tower. So we get off the ride after it's over, and japesh totally gets stuck. He can't get the bar off. So I look behind me, see him struggling, and yell "hey, japesh is stuck!" So everyone in the place turns and looks and at him and starts cracking up. So japesh looks up at the girl in the control tower and says "is this a joke?" About then one of the workers rushes over and presses down on the bar and it comes right up. Struggle much? John also struggled a bit by trying to stand up with a seat belt on after the roller coaster was done (on two seperate occasions). |
