Japan and America
Here I'll discuss some cultural differences between our two cultures.
School
In Japa
The teacher switches classes
The students are (most of the time) required to wear uniforms
They go through a period called examination hell
The do not have sports and things like art classes directly affiliated to the school, instead they are             clubs that meet after school.
Many students attend Juuku (cram school) for additional classes.
The students do not change their classroom roster
There are many more things that I'll put up later. If you have anything in particular to add please contact          me
In Americ
In America, we switch classes
Not many (if any) public schools require uniforms
The only major tests we have to take are the SATs or ACTs, sometimes the PSAT and any state mandated test (for Indiana it is the ISTEP and a few others)
Our electives range from Art to Computer Applications
Football and other sports is a way of ranking the school athletically. Sports are very             important to schools (not exactly bad though, it depends on how you look at it)
Hardly any students attend extra tutoring
Again, there are things I'm leaving out I'll put in later, however, if you have anything you want to say, then please contact me
