BEGINNER'S JAPANESE LANGUAGE LEARNING LIST

This textbook gets down to business with out the frills and wasted space found in other language learning books. Several kanji are introduced in each lesson to eventually build a large kanji vocabulary by the end of the book. Excellent!

If you want to start SPEAKING Japanese from day one, Pimsleur is the way to go. No books to study, just sit back at home or while driving and listen. Learn Japanese the way you learned English, by listening and speaking! If you have the money, by all means get the whole course. If you are not willing to spend a lot of money but have $20, get the abridged course. You will be glad you did. I bought the tapes and after a weekend, I was able to speak simple Japanese. It is such a good feeling!
