Learn Japanese: Lesson 2

Tango to Furezu.  (words and phrases)

Some of these words I have gone over before now I will give them to you sentences

Try to find clues of what the words mean by looking at similarities in the sentences

 

1.  Wa…

Natsu wa atsui.  (Summer is hot.)

Watashi wa seito desu.  (I am a student.)

Kyo wa Nichiyobi desu.  (Today is Sunday.)

 

2.  Desu…

Fuyu wa samui desu.  (Winter is cold.)

Kore ga atarashii hon desu.  (This is a new book.)

Koko wa doko desu ka.  (Where is this (place)?)

 

3.  No…

Kore wa dare no hon desu ka.  (Whose book is this?)

Kyoto no aki wa kirei desu.  (Kyoto’s fall season is beautiful.)

Amerika no daitoryo wa dare desu ka.  (Who is America’s President?)

 

4.  Ka…

Kono eiga wa omoshiroi desu ka?  (Is that movie interesting?)

Kore wa nan desu ka?  (What is this?)

Eigo wo hanashimasu ka.  (Do you speak English?)

 

5.  Wo…

Kore wo kudasai.  (Please give me this)

Nihongo wo hanashimasu ka?  (Do you speak Japanese?)

Watashi ni kohi wo kudasai.  (Please get me some coffee.)

 

6.  Shimasu…

Nihongo wo benkyo shimasu.  (I study Japanese.)

Boku wa yakyu wo shimasu.  (I play baseball.)

Ashita wa nani wo shimasu ka?  (What are you doing tomorrow?)
