Ack! So much is happening! College for your artist, your writer up and moved and now has a job *gasp*, still no money for the scanner...I feel like this thing is never getting off the ground! Hopefully once things clear up and a scanner is in my possession things will pick up and we'll get on a regular update schedule of somewhere around Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. *crosses fingers?* Things would be much simpler with a scanner! I haven't forgotten about the comic, and I dearly would love to keep working, I'm just at a standstill. I don't want to make all these comics and not have feedback on them. Please be patient with us, we are working on it!

Hey, this is Kim! I've uploaded a really crappy temporary picture with crappy caption bubbles onto the "Read the Comic" page. Take a look. I don't plan on leaving that crap ass thing there forever.

Stephie here. We've been taking a break from working on it. Kimmy's been doing random sketches of the cahracters and working on perfecting the way the comic looks when it's loaded onto the computer through her camera. I've been writing more episodes and editing the character bios a bit. So enjoy what's here and hopefully soon you'll get some actual comic....

Hehe. Okay, so I've encountered several problems. One is that I finally got the gumption up and finished Episode 1 and started work on 2-5. But the really bad news in that my scanner has died on me. Not working, at all. So, until I find a new job, or bribe someone that I know with a scanner, there will not be a comic appearing until February sometime... Maybe I should get my act together, ne?

Due to an expected delay, and then some others that were quite unexpected, the first page of Japanese Chiken is put off until 7/06/03. Hopefully by then the lazy cartoonist (me) can get off her butt and draw! Hehe. *ahem*
