The Process!
Welcome to Kim's process of making her part of the comic come alive!

Step 1: First we have the super rough, basic outline of panels and the layout of the shots. It's a lot like a storyboard that you would find movie peoples using...only not. Lot's of notes and scribbles are throughout the page to help me get it right and when Steph makes an intervection about something. I considered just posting these roughs for awhile, I really enjoy the stick figures! (Ignore my bad handwriting)
Step 2: This process is changing as I change how I do the comic. At the time that I had started this one, I was still planning on drawing everything in it's own frame, even if it had the same background. This was just all too time consuming combined with inking and preportions, god I hate preportions! So this step is now changed to the next step. It did give me a nice idea of how it was going to look!
Step 3a: The first page of backgrounds after the abandoned step 2. Thanks to the Kansas Union's pool tables for modeling for me. The one on the left looks like poo! I dunno what happened there! I'll fix that in the final comic, no worries! The notes are just telling me which frame the background is in, and which parts are on which layers. Do you like the lil people at the end of the bar? I do! Oh yeah, I <3 perspective!
Step 3b: The other set of the backgrounds. That one bottle is whack, but it should be behind Raven in that panel anyways. Why mess with my awesome mess-up skillz? That window is craptastic. Really. I might obliterate it during the touch up phase, or I might just leave it. Who knows. Don't ask what Jonny's reading, I have no idea, and I drew the damn thing! One more thing; Horray for rulers!
That's all I have done right now! The people will be drawn soon, and then the whole thing will be mutilate in PSP 8 and then I can start on my favorite episode yet! Whoop! (I will add the rest of the steps as they happen, yo!
