After debuting in May 1991, H fought overseas in the US and Mexico, becoming the Masked Man Hayabusa. As Hayabusa, he was a two-time wrestling champion, but in August of 1999, he removed the mask and became known as H. Soon thereafter, H was attacked by a man wearing his old Hayabusa costume. The identity of the pretender remains a mystery, but the hatred between H and the new Hayabusa is strong and deep rooted.

Hayabusa becomes "H" - A New Hayabusa? -- From '94-'99 the wrestler now known as H wore the mask of the legendary Hayabusa. In August 1999 the mask came off, and H was born. The same month at an FMW event in Sapporo, Northern Japan, a man wearing the masked costume of Hayabusa that had been on display, jumped into the ring and declared himself Hayabusa. He proclaimed "Today begins the second chapter of the Hayabusa legend!"
