Daddy picked me up on Friday night in the Dells with Auntie Gina and Amy. He sat in the back seat with me for the ride home to talk to and play with me and to make sure that I felt comfortable for the ride home. When we got home, I had to get ready for bed because it was pretty late. The next morning was a busy one because Gommy was moving. Daddy and I played for a little while in the morning, and then in the afternoon I got to go visit with great Gommie and Gompie for a couple of hours so that daddy could help move all the big and heavy stuff to Gommies new house. When daddy came to get me I didn't know where we were going when we got there, but then I recognized all of the people that were there and I was happy to be there. I also took a couple of steps this weekend!
August 9-11, 2002
Daddy picked me up on Friday night in the Dells and sat in the back with me all the way home so that he could talk to and play with me during the car ride. When we got home, I had to go to be right away eventhough I wanted to stay up and play with everyone. On Saturday morning my daddy took me to the mall and pushed me around all the stores in my new stroller. Then when we left the mall, we went over to Nunu's house to play with the doggies, but when we got there there was a pool in the back yard and a floatie toy for me to sit in! I was so excited, I love the water and swimming. And when I got out of the water I got to play with the doggies. We swam and played with the doggies almost all day, then we went home so that I could eat dinner and get ready for bed. Dad read me a book and then I went to sleep. The next morning we took a walk over to great gommie and gompies house to visit with them for a while. Then we went home and had to pack up all of my stuff for the ride back to the dells. We got to the Dells early so Amy and Daddy took me to a park and we played for a while until we had to go to meet mommy to drive home. Daddy gave me a big hug and kiss and told me that he is going to miss me and he will see me soon, I know he can't wait and neither can I!
July 27-28, 2002
I had to wait until Saturday morning to see Daddy this weekend because my mom wouldn't drop me off on Friday, but when Daddy picked me up in the Dells I could tell that he was happy to see me and I was happy to see him too! Uncle Mark drove up with Daddy and he was happy to see me too! Daddy bought me a new carseat and it was so comfy that I didn't want to get out when we got home. When we got to Milwaukee, we stopped by Daddy's friend Andrea and Uncle Nick was there too! I thought that their dogs were so funny. I liked Floyd (the little one) the best because he would run away when I would make noises and it was so funny that I couldn't stop laughing. After we left Andrea's house, we went to Daddy's Aunt Rosie's house to visit and say good bye to great Nana and Nunu who were leaving to go back to Texas. Everyone there said I was looked so much bigger and that I looked just like Daddy did when he was a baby boy (they also said I was the cutest boy around!). I even went swimming for a little bit when I was there, I liked that a lot, it was just like a great big bathtub. When we left there, I fell asleep in the car and when I woke up it was morning time already. I played for a long time with Daddy in the morning and the new toys that Gommy bought me. Then we went for a walk, I just love walking in my stroller. After our walk we went over to Nana and Nunu's house for a little while. They had two funny dogs there too. I love to play with and watch the doggies. Daddy let me try a popsicle at Nunu's house and I loved it, when it was all gone, I wanted more because it tasted good and felt good on my teeth! After we left Nunu's house, we went over to Uncle Mark's house where Daddy showed me his motorcycle. I even got to sit on it for a little bit and it was so much fun I didn't want to get off. Daddy said that when I get older he and I can go riding together, I can't wait! But then we had to leave so that Daddy could take me back to the Dells to drop me off. I played with Daddy for a little while in the backseat, but then I fell asleep because my carseat is so comfy. We got to the Dells early, so Daddy and Amy took me to the restraunt and I got to eat and play with Dad for a little while before I went back to Chippewa Falls with mom. Daddy gave me a big kiss goodbye and said that he will see me in two weeks, I can't wait!!
July 12 - 14, 2002
My Daddy drove all the way up to Chippewa Falls to pick me up today. It has been four weeks since I got to see him last because my mom had more important things to do when I was supposed to see Daddy two weekends ago. We drove back to Milwaukee and I was up for most of the car ride playing with Daddy in the back seat. When we got home, uncle Nick had bought me an awesome Oshgosh stroller, but I did not get to ride in it because it was past my bed time and I had to go to bed. The next morning I was up bright and early and I was playing with Daddy and keeping him busy. I can crawl now, so I like to move around and try to get into all kinds of trouble. I can also stand up on my own for over 30 seconds too! Later on that afternoon I got to go for my very first ride in my new stroller when Daddy and auntie Gina brought me down to the lake front to see all of the animals and clowns from the great circus parade. I got my picture taken with Daddy and one of the clowns and I saw all kinds of animals! Later on we went for another walk to great Gommy and Gommpy's house and then to the park. I really liked swinging in the swings with Daddy and my new stroller is so comfy that I fell asleep in it on the way home! The next day we played outside in the morning, but then we had to leave at noon so that daddy could take me back to the Wisconsin Dells so that my grandma could pick me up and take me back to Chippewa Falls.
June 15 - 16, 2002 (father's day weekend)
This is the first weekend that I got to go down and visit Daddy and his side of my family since I was born! Daddy picked me up in the Wisconsin Dells at noon on Saturday and then we drove back to Milwaukee. When we got to Milwaukee there were so many people who were anxious to see me for the very first time. I got to meet Nana and Nunu for the first time. Nunu is a funny guy, he had me laughing so hard at the noises that he was making! Later on we went back to gommy's house and I met my great Gommy and Gommpy for the first time as well as my second cousins and aunts and uncle. I am able to roll over by myself now too! The next morning I went with Daddy to his Aunt Rosie's house, but then we had to leave to drive back up to the Wisconsin Dells where daddy had to drop me off. I can tell that Daddy was very sad to have to let me go.
