 To Become a Member of JA Optimist Club. The Japanese American Optimist Club of Los Angeles is made up of individuals united by their commitment to serving our youth. The club is always looking for good men and women who wish to make a difference. Do you see yourself as a JAO member? Ask yourself: 1. Do I enjoy working with kids? 2. Do I enjoy making new friends? 3. Am I willing to give of my time to help others? 4. Am I willing to serve as a role model for kids? 5. Could I serve as a worthy ambassador of Optimism? 6. Would I be able to meet my fiscal responsibilities to the club? If you answered �yes� to all these questions, we want to talk with you!
