January 10th, 2360 Planet Romus
Finally a Private noticed the massive Battlesuit factory on the horizone. "Lock and load men, we're going in!" yelled Commander Gregory Thompson. His force of 12 (8 OU6-Lightbrngers 4 V16-Monsters) Battlesuits were ready for practically everything, well except the heat. The plan was to have Thompson's forces attack and distract IronPride forces while Korban's "Dark Angles" mopped up the opposition and secured the factory.
The IronPride force took cover behind the Trinnium Baracade that had been placed around the town. After a quick scan for enemies, his forces poured through the gates and took cover as the tanks on either side exchanged fire.
Noticing the commotion outside 5 MNR-Pharoah IIs stomped out of the factory ready for anything and began exchanging fire with the UNSC suits. Meanwhile the Dark Angles enetered through the west side of the city, but their advance was stopped by a pair of heavily equipped MNR-Punisher IIIs. One of the Angels instantly went down from their laser fire, Korban quick boosted from one piece of cover to the next, firing off lasers, missiles, and railgun rounds, The punishers were reinforced with Dry Water so they werent being damaged much by his attack.
Things werent going too well the the main assualt force either. 2 MNR-Punisher IIIs had also joined this side of the battlefield and were giving a beating to the UNSC. Thompson had already gone done from 2 railgun rounds from a punisher as well as 4 others (3 lightbringers and 1 monster). With the chaos of battle raging no-one noticed the small suit of Powerarmour getting ready to deploy a Naq-Nuke in the middle of the factory. He sneaked along the East side of the city trying to keep out of the way of stray fire. He was a Regiment Terrorist known as John Colobe, a name that would later be heard very commonly amount Regiment Priests. He sneaked along as both sides toke casualties. He was almost to the target factory when he was suddely blasted to the ground by a Mammoth Tank's autocannon. He could taste blood as he got his armour back up and turned to fire. Luckily for Colobe the tank crew had thought him dead and retrurned to firing apon the invasion force. He quickly took advantage of this and destroyed the tank with the laser before it could react. Seeing his objective in sight he thought nothing else could go wrong, but something did.
Suddeny in the spray of fire between the 2 elite squads came a distortion in space-time. The pilots all stood in awe as the knew what was coming out of the Spacefold. The angelic wings emerged and spread wide as the ALPHA asumed a combat posture. Its armour glowed with an almost divine hue. In it right hand it wielded a sword like no other. The blade was 70ft long, taller than most battlesuits. "Its the ALPHA. The ALPHA has come to kill us all!" was all a Ironpride pilot could say as the battlesuit plunged it's blade into the suits torso, killing the pilot, and disgarding it into a skyscaper. It then turned and opened up its IDC's on the other Punsiher, obliterating it.
Not wanting to suffer the same fate, Korban's forces retreated but unfotunatly all but 2 were mowed down by the barrgae of energy particles. Both armies noticed the major threat that had appeared on the battlefield and were forced to retreat. Everyone was well out of the blast radius when the Naq-Nuke went off. The ALPHA space-folded into orbit where it then obliterated the small UNSC and IronPride fleets before vanishing like nothing had happend at all.
