Background:James Korban was one of the most shining Aces of the U.N.S.C.. He was born 6 years before the IronPride rebellion and was quickly enslisted when he reached 19 years of age. He accomplished many goals and was in charge of his own special forces squad known as the "Dark Angles". When the prototype OU8-Shogun was announced Korban was the first person to be asked to pilot the new design.
Before he got the Shogun he was sent on a mission to Tre'Kar to ivestigate some odd energy readings. Appon arrival he and his squad discovered a massive Omni-dimension gateway. Before he and his men could mount an offensive, a massive IronPride force arrived. Seeing no possible way of defeating that many opponents Korban's forces retreated but remain in scanning range. Once he received the massive energy readings of a being that easy demolished the IronPride force and its reinforcements single-handedly, he knew he had to help the rebels. After 1 mission of serving with the U.N.S.C. in the Shogun, Korban escaped and joined the IronPride.
He quickly gained respect with General Victor Tagart and made friends with Krasian Longblade and Grosh'Kanor.
