Willie played the banjo, and spent some time traveling to cities in PA to play in theatres there. The image at the top is from stationery he used. In one of these letters, he wrote to Pink and said, "...well, I am writing this in the dressing room at the Carbondale Theatre, and I have just come off from playing and it went pretty good, but not as well as over in Scranton. This theatre here is pretty large, not a moving picture place, but a theatre with one balcony and a stage about as big as Fourpaugh's. Just now it is raining like anything, and the banjo does not sound as good as it might. I am on the bill here with an Irish comedian about 40 years old, and he is pretty funny..."
