Happy summer, JD fans! I can�t believe the 4th of July has come and gone so quickly. This year is almost half over. UNREAL! Maybe because I�m getting older, time speeds by a little faster now? ;-) Anywho, hope everyone has had a fun summer swimming, fishing, and just overall having a good time. A lot has been happening on the show � wow, what performances we�ve had by Josh over the last couple of months! I�m well aware that some aren�t crazy about the Leo/Laura pairing (understandably) so quickly after he lost Greenlee, but we can all agree that as of late Josh has been extra awesome in the scenes with Laura Allen (Laura). A few of you sent me some emails after my last JanOnJosh feature with your thoughts on Leo and Laura and what you thought would become of it. Here�s one:

"In response on Leo loving Laura, well at first I couldn't stand Laura, but ever since she has been sick I kinda felt sorry for her. And I know we can all relate to her on having a huge crush on Leo. How could you not fall for that guy? He is amazing. If I was Laura and I knew Leo I would be just like her, totally in love. But Leo loves Greenlee. And in a way he loves Laura, too. But I he loves her as a friend. If you watched the 6/8/01 show, you saw how he looked at Greens. He doesn't want to hurt Laura but I think in the end he will. And she will get a heart because everyone is saying that Gillian will replace Laura's heart. Who knows? Leo may surprise us and really fall in love with Laura. But you�ve got to love the guy. He is so breath taking and funny. I wish there really was a guy like that in real life." - Beachbunny

All good points. Let�s read on for more responses:

"I think Leo will actually grow to love Laura, but more as a sister than a friend. He will try to stay faithful to her, but it will ultimately be too difficult." -KPMulli

"I am really getting into the new storyline with Josh. I think Leo is falling madly in love with Laura. It's different from the beginning. I think his true feelings for her are starting to come out. I hope she survives with the new heart she will hopefully get. I think Leo and Laura would have a very exciting and romantic life together." -Kaitlyn Cooper

I think the above three opinions sum up what the diverse group of JD fans out there are feeling right now. Some love it. Some hate it � for those of you that love that Laura and Leo are together, do you think it will last? I�d like to hear from some fans who don�t want Leo with ANYONE! I say return him back to his player days somehow, where the only thing that mattered to him was that he was up to the minute on the latest fashion trends! I�ve said before that I know a character has to grow and mature at some point on the show, but the Leo that is on the screen is not the Leo we first got to know and love (remember, this is just my .02, not necessarily anyone else�s!). I still love him, but he�s changed so much, I feel like I don�t know this new and improved Leo very well. Leo was never a bad guy, he just wasn�t a GOOD guy. He just sort of existed and enjoyed creating havoc in other people�s lives and we know he was very good at it!

The big question remains: where does Leo go from here? Is it in this new Leo�s nature to be a settle-down kind of guy with his new bride? Or will we see shades of the old Leo surface as his feelings for Greenlee continue to build up inside him? I know what I�d like to see, but what about you?
