| A piece of advice - never go to a rat show, and expect to come home without a new rat! Fleshy was purchased from OddFellows Rattery during Ratapalooza in Seattle. We had already been thinking about obtaining a hairless, and this little guy was so adorable, we simply had to take him home. :) He is a true (apparently show quality) hairless - his only hair is those curly little whiskers. ;) At only 8 weeks of age, Fleshy is larger than other baby rats we've owned (he's daddy was a big boy so we're told), and it's hard to think of him as being so young - it also doesn't help that his wrinkly skin makes him look ancient. :) He's a very vibrant rat, extremely curious as all young rats are, and is settling in nicely. Soon quarantine will be over and hopefully he'll become Jim's new cagemate. |
