Fez
SPCA rescue rattie, living with us since April 26, 2002
Fez (another name from "That 70's Show") was brought to the SPCA with a warning of "I bite."  He was caught by someone's cat (!!!), and the cat owner's tried keeping him for a week, but found he bit too much and gave him up for adoption.

While my husband did get bitten by the poor, half starved little guy the first day, it was only a matter of days (and reassurances of a steady, nutritious food supply) before Fez was cool with being held and picked up.  At first, we thought he was quite young based on his size, but soon realized that he was indeed full grown, just on the small side.  By his behaviour, he clearly had been a pet at some point in time; I can only hope that someone didn't let him loose to fend for himself.  In any case, he's ours now!!

Fez developed some aggression problems as time wore on, so we decided to have him neutered in November 2002.  He came through the operation splendly and within days had settled down immensely.  Now he is extremely loving and not a trace of aggression is to be found! :)  He even found a cage mate in Jim, and the two are much happier as a result.
"Yes, I AM a handsome little fellow aren't I?"
Fez eyes the camera suspiciously...
Up close and personal.... :)
