We started the day with a breakfast of green eggs and ham.
We looked very "seussful" in our hats!
On March 2, 2004, Scarbro Elementary held a day long celebration to honor the 100th birthday of Dr. Seuss.  The pictures below show a few of our activities.  The day ended with a Seusscentennial Ball sponsored by our PTO.  We celebrated with cake, ice cream, and danced to the sounds of a D.J.
The cake and ice cream was very yummy!
We wrote and illustrated our own books.
We made special hats to celebrate the day.
Here you can see some of our artwork to celebrate the work of Dr. Seuss.
Look at us! We all had a special picture made to remember the day.
We investigated the properties of oobleck.
Kindergarten Class in the Hats.
We made some wonderful artwork to celebrate the day.
We loved listening to the stories of Dr. Seuss over and over.
Our PTO parents decorated our gym with giant drawings of Dr. Seuss characters.
