Work was commenced on St. Ludmila and St. Wenceslaus statues, which will be made of one block stone as a part of the sculptural group. The angel will be created from a separate block of stone as well as the sculptural group pedestal.
This block stone (the future pedestal of the St. Ludmila sculptural group) weighs 20 tonnes (metric).
