RULES FOR SUBMISSION

I'll get straight to the point here. As there is the policy of the Haven, there are guidelines on how to submit. All I want is compliance with these rules and guidelines. It will make everyone's lives easier (I'm sorry if I'm being so pushy!)...

Once submitted to me, your works (Fan art, fanfics, poetry, etc...) becomes property of the Haven as well as yours and will not be reposted on any other site without YOUR permission (and my blessing...=P).

As a fellow writer, I advise you to NOT FORGET your official pen name in every thing you submit so as to avoid *complications*.

I had the unfortunate experience of forgetting to put my name on an article I wrote and my friends (who shall remain nameless...) got it from me, thinking it was "OK" (IT WASN'T!) with me and *POOF!* they got accolades for an article that I slaved over (Sad...).

So, that brings me to the rules (if you're submitting a fanfic):

1.) E-mail your story as an attachment. *DO NOT* type it directly as the body of the message as I or any of the co-owners might mistake it for a REEEAAALLLY long chain letter and delete it (oopsie!).

2.) Don't forget the pen name by which you want to be known and your e-mail address so's I can contact you (You just gotta love e-mail! ).

3.) This is the most important:

Before anything else, please, please, PLEASE run your work through a spell checker and grammar checker (they come with most word processors). Correct punctuation is also as important.

It also helps if you know someone with EXCELLENT grammar and spelling to help proofread your write-ups. If you have none of the above mentioned, or you think it's a waste of time, you can still submit them to me BUT take note:

Once your works are submitted, then that means I have the freedom to correct and edit your submission (Think of it as being charitable...)! I guarantee you that 7 out of 10 people would rather a story with correct grammar and spelling than one that has none.

8 out of 10 people also get headaches from reading a story wherein sentences tend to run together (including me) like this:

"Do you really like him?" "Yes, why?" she laughed.
' That was quite a shocker, there', she thought to herself as they skated around the rink.
They hadn't gone far when the opportunity came up again for Ellen to peck on Mel again.
"Who is he?" "You know that already." "What is he?" "I believe you know that, too."

Hell, try reading 10 PAGES of THAT and you'll see what I mean by M-I-G-R-A-I-N-E!!! Hopefully, you'll understand. I'm not someone with supernatural powers (though I wish I was...), just a little anime otaku who wants to share with others...*sniff* *sniff*... Anyways, that's pretty much it, people!

Ok, now, enough ramblings! O-tanoshimi, minna-sama!!!!
