At one time was a glassblower. Parents came form Northern Ireland and were Catholics.

I just remembered something: Cornelius Carlton had a brother who emigrated to the States around the beginning of the 20th century. He had the intention of working as a camera operator in Hollywood. I don't know if he succeeded, though!
Perhaps you have heard of a T.V. actress called Jane Cameron? Her real name is Jane McDermott and her father, David McDermott, is my cousin. His mother, Rita McDermott, nee CARLTON, is my father's younger sister.
