That day Mom left us in the car
We didn't think she'd go too far
Cause she forgot to set the brake
And we were headed for the lake
We wondered why she wasn't here
Seems like she was always near
What was going to happen, where did mommy go
We couldn't see her anywhere,we just didn't know
The water came in and started to rise
I said ,hang on little brother and close your eyes
We couldn't get out,our belts had us bound
We cried,Mommy,help us,don't let us drown


Give me your hand,brother,I'm still here
I know,like me,you are in fear
We said, where is Mommy,she didn't say good-bye
And Daddy,we love you,please don't cry
Mommy will miss our kisses and hugs,this isn't right
She'll miss tucking us in bed at night
Our lives had only just begun
How will Mommy live with what she's done...
