Awakened Senses
Hear..the cries for justice Their suffering was wrong The cry is loud and mighty In a voice three thousand strong Feel..the earth, for it's still trembling As they march on,Heaven bound The rain that comes is salty Tears fall on burned, scorched ground See...the anguish on their faces They weren't prepared to leave Plucked from precious lives they loved Their families left to grieve

Smell...yes,smell the putrid air Once fresh and clean and clear For now it's acrid, pungent, smokey And yes,it's filled with fear Taste...a new taste America It's bitter, but just a tinge And we will come to know it As the taste of sweet revenge We cannot stop until we know These cries for justice have been met Our strong, brave nation cries today But,THIS...we won't forget Till we track down our oppressors America will not rest For our senses are awakened And they will know..We are the BEST...
