1. Daniel1 Martin, son of Giles Martin and Nancy 'Ann' Ingram, was born April 27, 1798. Daniel died October 17, 1881, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 83 years of age. His body was interred in Martin Cemetery, Carroll Co., Va..
He married Mary Jane 'Aunt Jinnie' Gardner in Grayson County, Virginia, 1825. Mary was born October 22, 1805. Mary was the daughter of James Gardner and Tobitha (Tabitha) Martin. Mary died October 22, 1891, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 86 years of age. Her body was interred in Martin Cemetery, Carroll Co., Va. Other evidence states that Mary was born in Carroll County, Virginia. Mary obtained a Marriage Bond on February 8, 1825. Conflicting evidence states that she died in Carroll County, Virginia, October 26, 1891. Other evidence states that Daniel was born in Patrick County, Virginia, April 27, 1798. Daniel obtained a Marriage Bond on February 8, 1825. Daniel's birth date is recorded as 1798 and 1793. 1798 would be more in keeping with his parent's marriage.

ii. Mahalia Martin was born July 28, 1828. Mahalia died July 31, 1907, at 79 years of age. Her body was interred in Banks Cemetery, Carroll Co., Va.. She married Anderson Webb in Carroll County, Virginia, October 5, 1848. Anderson was born in Grayson County, Virginia December 8, 1829. Anderson was the son of Robert 'Robin' Webb and Catherine Elizabeth 'Betsy or Betty' Nester. Anderson died July 1, 1899, at 69 years of age. His body was interred in Banks Cemetery, Carroll Co., Va.. Anderson's occupation: farmer. Anderson obtained a Marriage Bond on October 2, 1848. According to conflicting evidence, he married Mahalia Martin in Carroll County, Virginia, October 6, 1848. Conflicting evidence states that he died July 4, 1899.
iii. Nancy Martin was born in Carroll County, Virginia November 5, 1830. Nancy died March 9, 1921, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 90 years of age. Her body was interred in Mt.Hebron, Missionary Bap., Cem., Carroll Co.,Va. She married three times. She married Thomas D. Bolt, Capt. in Carroll County, Virginia, February 1, 1856. Thomas was born in Carroll County, Virginia December 19, 1827. Thomas was the son of John Bolt and Rebecca Dillard. Thomas died July 20, 1861, in Bland Co., at 33 years of age. His body was interred in Mt.Hebron, Missionary Bap., Cem., Carroll Co.,Va..
She married Carroll Burnett Jackson, Rev. in Carroll County, Virginia, November 30, 1865. Carroll was born in North Carolina May 6, 1822. Carroll was the son of William Jackson and Elanira (Jackson). He married Permelia Amelia (Jackson). Carroll died December 29, 1891, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 69 years of age. His body was interred in Mt.Hebron, Missionary Bap., Cem., Carroll Co.,Va.
iv. Amanda Martin was born April 24, 1833. Amanda died November 28, 1835, at 2 years of age. Her body was interred in Webb Cemetery, Carroll Co., Va..
v. Alexander G. Martin was born in Patrick County, Virginia March 20, 1835. Alexander died August 31, 1864, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 29 years of age. He married Judith Emaline Pendleton in Patrick County, Virginia, November 9, 1854. Judith was born in Patrick County, Virginia December 15, 1835. Judith was the daughter of John Pendleton and Anne Hubbard. She married Noah J. Combs in Carroll County, Virginia, October 17, 1867. Judith died December 31, 1916, at 81 years of age. Her body was interred in Combs Cem., Carroll Co., Va..
vi. Louisa Martin was born in Carroll County, Virginia July 18, 1837. Louisa died December 8, 1915, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Gladesboro Cem., Hillsville, Carroll Co., Va.. She married Alexander Martin Beamer in Carroll County, Virginia, September 22, 1859. Alexander was born in Carroll County, Virginia 1837. Alexander died 1927, in Carroll County, Virginia, at 90 years of age. His body was interred in Gladesboro Cem., Hillsville, Carroll Co., Va..

Giles died March 20, 1927, at 80 years of age. His body was interred in Martin Cemetery, Carroll Co., Va.. Other evidence states that Giles was born in Carroll County, Virginia, circa 1848.
viii. James Anderson Martin was born in Virginia May 27, 1844. James died February 12, 1863, at 18 years of age.
10 ix. Isaac Martin was born in Carroll County, Virginia July 1, 1848. Isaac died May 10, 1927, at 78 years of age. His body was interred in Isaac Banks Cem., Hillsville, Carroll Co., Va.. He married twice. He married Sarah Ann Amanda Webb in Carroll County, Virginia, December 31, 1868. Sarah was born in Carroll County, Virginia February 22, 1852. Sarah was the daughter of Greenville Webb and Martha Jane Scott. Sarah died October 11, 1918, at 66 years of age. Her body was interred in Isaac Banks Cem., Hillsville, Carroll Co., Va.. He married Lucy Ann Sandefur in Carroll County, Virginia, April 15, 1919. Lucy was born in Meadows of Dan, Patrick County, Virginia July 25, 1858. Lucy was the daughter of Abraham M. Sandefur and Susan Barnard. She married Alexander C. Webb in Carroll County, Virginia, March 14, 1878. Lucy died November 24, 1947, at 89 years of age. Her body was interred in James F.Goad Cem, Crooked Oak, Carroll Co., Va..
