| One week ise-celebrate ng SIS ng GMA-7 ang first anniversary simula August 26 to 30. Nang araw na bumisita kami sa taping, ang VST & Co., Boyfriends, April Boy Regino, Aegis, Gabriella at si Mystica ang guests nina Janice at Gelli de Belen. Masayang ibinalita ni Gelli na mula nang magsimula ang Morning Girls ng ABS-CBN ay three times pa lang sila natatalo sa rating. Ayon kay Gelli, 'di impressive ang rating ng show noong first few weeks nila sa ere, pero nag-pick up agad at hanggang ngayon ay maganda ang kanilang rating. |
| Parehong lumaki sa showbiz, ika nga, ang magkapatid na Janice at Gelli de Belen, kaya kabisado na nilang tsumika sa movie press, beterano man o baguhan, at kahit paaano nakakatulong sa publisidad ng kanilang daily show sa GMA 7, ang Sis. Bukod siyempre sa masipag na staff ng Creative Services Dept. ng network headed by Peachy Giogio and Jayce Perlas. Kapansin-pansin kasi ang pagiging "aloof", as in, hindi friendly sa press na production staf ng Sis, na napatunayan namin sa taping ng anniversary presentation ng show nung isang araw. Yes, naka-isang taon na ang Sis, would you believe, at mukhang tatagal pa dahil mataas ang rating. Hindi nga sila natinag sa pagsulpot ng Goodbye Girls este, Morning Girls ng Dos. 'Nga Pala, ang ilan panauhin sa anniversary special ng Sis, ay ang VST & Co., Boyfriends, April Boy Regino, Mystica at Gabriela. |

| One week ise-celebrate ng SIS ng GMA-7 ang kanilang first anniversary na magsisimula ngayong araw na ito at tatagal hanggang Biyernes, August 30. Maraming guest sa isang linggong anibersaryo ang show at may mga sorpresang handog sina Janice at Gelli de Belen, kaya subaybayan ang SIS. Inobserbahan namin sina Janice at Gelli sa taping. Naroong ayusin ni Gelli ang blouse na suot ni Janice dahil nakita nitong hindi comfortable ang kapatid na nakikita ang likod sa suot. Nakita rin naming magku-compare ng mga suot na accessories ang dalawa. Pareho ang dasal ng magkapatid na magtagal pa sa ere ang kanilang show dahil chance ito para sila'y madalas na magkita't magkasama. |

| Janice and Gelli can enumerate quite of a lot of HOW swift time flies! It's already been a year since then newly-separated Janice de Belen (from hubby John Estrada) got an offer to co-host an early morning talk show, "Sis," with younger sister Gelli on GMA-7. Hosting was something new to both of them then, but they managed to breeze through the job with flying colors. Today, two studios (they used to tape their episodes at a rented house in Quezon City) and over 200 episodes later, the De Belen sisters are proving GMA's choice right. They consistently enjoy top rating, unaffected by competition posed by relatively bigger stars over Rainbow Channel's rival network. Today caps the week-long celebration of "Sis'" first year. reasons why they are able to maintain their viewers' interests. But of all these, two stand out: their undeniable chemistry and complementing personalities. From our end, we believe that much of their success (as the invitation to their first year reads) springs from the fact that they are not just (scandal-ridden?) girls, but sisters. Ain't sisters upright and discreet with their personal affairs make credible hosts? |
