Birth doula's are trained professionals experienced in childbirth who provide continuous emotional and physical support during labour and birth. A birth doula will also facilitate communication between the labouring woman, her partner and caregivers. Birth doula's will meet with you prenatally to discuss your desired birth experience, to answer any questions you may have and to help you make a birth plan. Your doula will also meet with you after the baby is born.
